i was asking cause i got a crazy idea of putting a 12" BTL in my reg. cab Sierra (wanted a 10 but not made for daily use)and i was wondering how it would do in the lows. didnt know if it would hit lows good or not, because its mostly used for spl. now that i know its up to box size and tuning ill just have to play with it.

ok so it doesnt matter if its an spl sub it will hit lows depending on box

being that the BTL is more spl oriented<<--- or does it matter if a sub is spl oriented? how does it handle the lows?

thanx abunai so i guess the Q with BP would be the better.... getting SQ and handle more power to get louder

one more ques. since theyre almost the same will the BL have SQ like the Q? i know the Q will do it better, but will it be there or will it go straight to SPL?

TS-W2504SPL and Fi SSD 10" how do these two subs compare? if you only have exp. with one of them put your 2 cents in.

Focal FP 1.800 what do you think about it? have any of you used it? and what do you think of Focal amps?

thats what i was asking what are quality brands? specs and features i dont know yet, but if its quality all their amps should be good? price- ill figure out which amp is good for me and ill save my money

im in the market for a new amp and im doing some research on different brands. and i want to know what you guys think and also know which brands are more efficient and have cleaner bass?? also what was the formula to determine amp efficiency??

im goin to get a new HU maybe an Kenwood DDX8019 or Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD i think they have pretty good controls

well thanx for all the info. more than i was expecting but helped and made me think of how and where i would install everything ok, so far what i need is a good HU, good components+amp, for voice sub+amp, for bass and sound deadning and placement off all components what else is used for good SQ? what about crossovers??

was looking for a new sub after abusing the 10" premier i had and saw a post on the CA forum when subs were being compared and the mentioned Fi i looked on their site found the Q and did some research on it, goin to get one as soon as i get a job:)

yea its been hit alot but all i got from them was "this sub hits harder than a 7" "i get more SPL than a 7 with a budget" "this sub has better SQ than a 7" you know posts like that, just want to know whats the same or better thanx for the list denim

ok i've heard all kinds of things about the W7 that its the best and also that it sucks. i've heard one and i liked it. what subs come to its level or are better than it in both SQ and SPL on the posts i've read someone wants to know about its performance but someone always brings up the price so when responding, the only thing i ask is dont bring up the price
