This is the graph i got from WinISD volume is 5.4 port is 4* 8 * 11 (dont know if thats the right port size or not. The sub with be mounted inverted for more box volume. I have 2 12's now in a sealed box, but would like something louder, and I have a BL 18 dual 2 that im not using so I am trying to fit it in my truck. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee29/mld42/Blbox.jpg And is there any way to extend the port out of the box rather than porting the inside. Ive read on some forums that peel and seal will work for sound deadening just like dynomat. I was walking through home depot yesterday and saw the roofing tar, would this work like the roadkill liquid stuff? Its alot cheaper.

thanks for the info. I couldnt use the 2.5 X 46.5 X 17 port because i wouldnt have room then to put in the sub, the port would hit it. I need the port on the top because it will be blowing into the backs of the seats. well it does have about 2 feet of clearance from the back seats but everywhere else i would put the port would be really close to the side of the trunk. I forgot my camera to take pictures of the trunk, but ill get them on here for some suggestions soon, before i start on the box.

Im designing my box now for my BL 18 and wanted to check something i read in the BL sticky for enclosures. For the ports, you need 12-16 in3 for each 1 ft3 the box is? So this means that the port would have the same volume or bigger than the whole box? There is a sundown dealer near me here that i have talk to about a qoute and its a little out of my 400 dollar price range. I have been looking at the ss1900.1d amp and some say a/b class that some say D class. Did they make more than version or is someone just advertising it wrong. thanks

I put universal as yes, which im ok with if i cant get it changed, but i dont think i will ever change to the other voice coil if i reconed it. And i put yes for the extreme lead option, and im not using the sub for only spl. And read on here right after i ordered it that you should only get the extreme lead if your only using the sub for spl applications. I will be using it for daily. So those are the two things i wanted to change, I still havnt gotten an email back, i hope i can get these two things changed.

I just ordered an BL 18 and chose the universal option and the extreme lead option. I sent an email the other day asking about these two options and never got a response. Then after reading alittle on here i saw that they dont answer none order emails. And after reading on here i found out what they are and would like to change my order. Do you all think this would be possible. I have emailed the company, and i did just order the sub. Just wanted to know if youall thought i would get a response from them before the sub was processed. thanks.

isnt that a A/B class amp. Im not really sure what the difference is between D and A/B class amps.

I am looking at either a US amps XT-2000D, a Concept CD2410, or a Massive audio P1500.1. Which one do you think would be the best to get? Or any other suggestions for around $400.
