    Just a lurker here, but I thought I would throw in a few suggestions since I really like this thread. On the metal end of the spectrum try out the album Messengers from August Burns Red and anything from Impending Doom. I'm also a big fan of a dubstep artist called Awe, Check out the Eagle Soul EP. Lots of it sounds like music for Anime cartoons or old sega genesis games, but its cool stuff with great bass. Very clean and pretty low.
