  1. I dont have an amp. Thinking about making a 3^3 box tuned at 34hz.
  2. Not sure if this has been asked before. But I have been considering going with a 15" mag. I know ported is louder. I am just wondering how much or if you loosing power handling going ported. I know that different size sealed boxes do change your power handling. Smaller boxes will require more power do to the compression the speaker is under when it pulls back for a bass hit. Also thinking about going with 34hz tune if I do go ported. What amp would guys recommend for a setup like that and i dont plan on going to a bass comp. But wouldn't mind having the power to show off once in a while.
  3. Interesting choice the Memphis MCD 1000. what do you guys think between these 2 amps Memphis MCD 1000 or Ed NINe.1? which is better? Also where can i find good deals on amps. cus i was having a hard time find a good price on mcd 1000. Thanks!
  4. I haven't bought this sub yet but, i do plan on buying a 15" mag and plan on having a JL 500/1 feeding it. I really don't want to go over $1,000 and still have a bad ass system. I might even save up for the JL 1000/1 but its a bit more than i want to spend. I am shooting for SQ and still want low's. I'm guessing 3^3 seal box will have slightly better lows than 2.5^3? This install is going into a Crown Victoria 89'. So i got plenty of trunk space to deal with. Also curious how loud this speaker would get with just a JL 500/1 feeding it instead of having a JL 1000/1.
