x2 on the clamp on DMM, they can be a bit pricey though. You could try and see if autozone might help you, but they might just say that you need a new one.

If you have a 1000w rms I would say go with an ssd or Q. If you had 1500-1800w rms, then I would go with a BL.

No need to hate a company over a couple of stickers. x2 on the audiobahn comment. I hope Scott doesn't yell at whoever packed it, they must have just been tired of lifting heavy drivers all day.

Bracing that box and minimizing the flexing may also help on the meter. I'm guessing a dowel rod glued in may help, or just cut some mdf and put it in there.

Sounds good, did you have a chance to take pics? You should put the 1501bd on there for the hell of it.
