For those of you that are either Team IAK or those who will be hanging out with us (Team IAK) at the Carl Casper show on Feb. 26th, Saturday, Louisville, KY... You might want to put your name down in this thread for a free surprise. I had talked to Jay-C76 about this and i know he's been dyin to get this(i know his computer has been dyin as well... just had to say that) If any of you are familiar with "Decaf" songs.. well, you will want to put your name on here. I periodically rebuild songs for us low tuned bassheads. Some songs i do very little too such as just slowing them down and emphasizing the low end more while others i completely strip the original bassline out and generate a series of basslines and rhythms to replace it for a completely new sounding song. as long as u get one installed prior to 1-1-2012, u are legally fine and as long as it doesnt go off all the time back to back... They are saying after that date, it's illegal to install one... It's making me wonder if they know something we do not like something similar to onstar but cheaper.

just sent, i was not pleased having to but when a state decides to act like a baby, well, someone has to step up. Hello, my name is Sean, National Director of SPL-Lab USA. I have recently been informed of this bill and would like to express what big mistake Hawaii is about to make for the country and not just to the state in which you reside. It appears to me that this bill has been manifested based on the principles of selfishness of not making it public enough and has created a backdoor to try and push for something that is unnecessary. Interestingly enough, it is this "secrecy" that has me discouraged about the goals of the bill. It is understood to me that this bill is a way to "get back" at the community for basically not respecting others. If this is the view many supporters have, they are going about it completely wrong. This bill is another failed attempt at looking at the big picture when it comes to stereo nuisance as in all other things, the stereo scene in itself is and will always be a hobby. Like many hobbies, most hobbies are completely legal and are there to keep people busy or out of trouble. Looking at the stereo genre that we normally call the car audio scene, this hobby is completely legal. What is misinterpreted is the usage of the hobby. Car audio is very popular in young teens because their car is their own personal space. Young teens also like going to concerts. Putting the two together equals car audio. We also have another group of people, those who enjoy the realism of music. Taking this hobby away from people is like taking the ability away to go see a movie. It's something the whole nation does, but how responsible are those that do listen to music in their car? That's what has started it all... Loud music. Overly excessive for other people who care not to hear it. A personal choice, not a mandatory requirement to keep peace to prevent harm toward someone. The car audio scene is filled with more responsible adults than uneducated teens. I cannot stress this enough. There are many organizations and leagues around the world, not just in this country that let anybody compete to see who has the loudest vehicle based on divisions to make it fair. Just like any competition, these competitions builds respect and responsibility to those who have installed an aftermarket setup that has the "potential" of becoming excessively loud. The internet is the most trafficked medium on the planet now. More and more people can get information quicker and easier than ever before. It is because of the internet that we have message boards to help those who are in this hobby to become more educated and also become more responsible about those around them. My point is clear without any question- Enforcing this bill to assume mischievous abuse toward the public will open a door so wide, the nation will retaliate involuntarily and will cause this nation to be in worse shape that what it is right now. Car audio is holding this nation together? No. Of course not... Killing off one of the most popular hobbies among many, many, many people around this country will also affect those out of this country as well... It is a snowball effect and will rebound back to many other companies around the world in no time. If this bill were passed, other states would also like to consider it due to their selfish thinking of handling a very minute problem that is being blown out of proportion. I must emphasize this- Does Hawaii realize what they might start? The entire country is still struggling to find jobs. There are many people still out there that can't find a job. Removing the legal right to have any said aftermarket product installed would diminish sells in this country as this bill were to move from state to state. Cutting back sales would eventually lead to even more jobs and companies disappearing from our history. And when the American people look back several years later at what we as a nation were doing to try and help ourselves rebuild and grow... They will see Hawaii was one of the first states to start a chain reaction to enforcing such a bill that ultimately led to even more jobs being lost, even more people without jobs. In order for the country to grow, we do NOT fuel the unemployed fire, we employ, not take away! There are far too many analogies I can use to show how this bill is overly aggressive in every possible view yet I refuse to take the time to explain why because I will not bring myself down to the state's level to explain. If the state can't figure out why, then the people of Hawaii are already victims of a harsh penalty that they should have the privilege of using. If a state wants to make the people who give the car audio hobby a bad reputation, then go about it at a personal level. Do not attack the whole nation starting with your state. Also- 4 AQ2200ds @0.4ohm 4 DC Level4 15s (not the XLs) Tuned to 29hz, peak at 51hz 1 D3100, 1 D5100, Stock alternator 144sqin of port 153.4db at the headrest 157.2db in the kick In just the 4 months this setup was in there, plastic bracket for dome light is rattling around, completely broke brackets holding the entire driver side controls(windows, door locks, etc) off, had to zip tie it back on from behind the door panel, the sun visor now makes noise and the brake pedal has come loose slightly( it's resonating, my braking is fine)

for the power on hand, i'd say BL for sure. The XL has more potential as is comparable to a BTL. I have heard the complete opposite about the XL vs Gen2 BTLs but.. of course we all know that one install to another.. things change and it's hard to compare subs like that. The Level3 will definitely sound better than an XL will, hehe. Now, in terms of how they are made.. it doesn't really matter as long as it does what it's suppose to do without any problems. They do their own thing for competitors much like Sundown does options on their subs too for competitors. Different companies focus on different things which doesn't necessarily make one company better than another, they just can't be compared apples to apples. I wouldn't expect someone to ask is the JL w7 going to be louder than a Sundown SA-12 in a pure burp only scenario.... 2 different companies, 2 different goals. I do not know about motor force.. only get that answer from the company themself, but ther are MANY high power subs from many companies that are typically custom built.. Fi's new BTL- NSG, well we all know about that monster coming soon. DC XL\Lvl5 with SPL motor or DC Lvl6 Cactus Sounds MKII DDz SoundStream XXX-15 Sundown's Monster... someday, hehe IA Warden So point is.. don't focus your sub just based on motor force.. Too much motor force and it will not have that flat of a response for daily as one would hope for. So hands down, the BL wins in my opinion.

do you realize that running an amp like that at 0.5ohm will put out way more current than 2 strapped at 2ohms? Your subs will last longer with a strapped pair and so will your money.

do you guys get neo precharged? reason i ask is because i have heard that there are only like 3 of these chargers around the world and they are ungodly expensive so every neo-user must cut, build and assemble while charged

you should put it back together, hook only power, ground and remote up (and of course fusing). If it's still in protect, read what voltage the power terminals are seeing. If it's above 10v, then contact db-r.

DC Power is the only alt company i know that actually rates their idle output properly... There's one reason for your low idle.. You need more rpms to get to idle.. which is sad but true.
