Renting is the wrong word to use here. User purchases product up front then is reimbursed later, if contract is met properly, a signed amount. These meters, after being used, are sold as used meters and re-used as loaner meters. Users who opt in to try these meters out and then later on down the road decide to purchase one in full get a discount on a new meter since they have already spent money using one before.

Well, i'm going to say this just to make it clear and easy- Yes, we did give him a hard time based on what he liked doing. MANY OTHER forums' members also gave him a hard time as well. His Obituary states he had long time Chronic Depression problem. Now, we do not know what type of problems members have anywhere as we treat everyone equally. Now, i know we wish he hadn't done what he had done and i'm sure members' actions had little do to with it based on his family problems.... But, to make a point- Words do hurt and his last posts on one forum was a redundant post several times in multiple threads due to someone pissing him off. As in .. Bullying over the internet. With as childish it may sound, if you have mental condition(s), that's all it takes. So for the sake of what we know now, in respect of his past, let's try to remember this to prevent any future potentialpossible negative feelings to those sensitive members out there. I'm all for having fun with my funny comments and such but I do not want to see anyone take it literal or personal and i'm sure others do not either. He will be missed as anyone would be who we once knew.

Birch is less dense, but it's MoE is more than DOUBLE that of MDF. Stiffness is what you would want if competing. Personally, if you are after a normal daily driver, nothing outrageously loud, MDF all the way. And just FYI OP, baltic birch is not $10 more than MDF, it's much more than that if buying by the sheet. The only real Russian Baltic Birch comes in 1116" thick, 60" x 60" squares. Per sheet goes for around $50-79 depending on location. Baltic Birch should be an envious wood for those who compete.. I tried doing a group buy for this type of wood but nobody would comply I can get Russian BB but must be bought in bulk of ~30 sheets at a time. Cost is good only for local pickup.. but pricing has probably gone up since then but like anything, always cheaper to buy in bulk.

Let me follow up on the last comment i made here. The software for Android is actually fully functional for dual measuring.. but some devices are incompatible with this feature. It may be out of our hands to fix compatibility because there are variables involved for each phone that may be out of our control. I do know that my phone is incompatible - Samsung Epic 4g Sprint. But compatibility to use Android software for 1 meter is 100% for ALL Android phones and tablets running OS 2.1 or greater.

if it swells.. perhaps you should try it on birch, plywood or oak.
