I'd go with a Solo-X like Casey suggested. As he and many another competitors can tell you the lane changable cone, is one of the best inventions ever............ abouht plus blown Team RF= about 2 weeks turn around minimum blown Solo-X= without cone maybe a week max (find one on ebay or direct from kicker). or right there on the spot. Don't know about you but to me if i do the Math the solo-X is alot better.............plus square=more overall cone area, henceforth more air moved for louder numbers!!!!! J

Okay the MTX tweeters had one die on me last week. So I finally decided it was time to replace them. I was going to use cheap-o wal*mart 3/4" tweets but after seeing they are 10 watts RMS, i knew they would be worthless. I decided to check out some Power Akustics. After picking them up I noticed no swivel to the tweeters themselves. Okay no problem, I can adjust by how I mounted them. I started off with Hed P.E. "Amerikan Beauty". There is a good vocal range here in the females voice, and the lead singer's vopice as well. The first thing I nopticed is on the MTX x/o's they sounded VERY shrill. I dropped the EQ's tweeters level and tweet boost down. The tweet boost went from 2.5K up (down as to how low it boosts) to 6.5K.............I then found a more even flow between them and the rest of my system. Next up was Black Label Society "Stillborn"..........Zakk Wilde has NEVER sounded better to me!!!! Crisp clear and clean!! I'm noticing some notes I hadn't heard before, and some crackels in his voice never there before. I had begun to see that for only 20 dollar tweets these were prekky awsome!! The Last "test" track is some random rap track on a mixed cd...........low octave vocals, and alot of drum and bass,,,,,,,I was rather impressed as these still flowed amazingly well with everything else again. There is a vocal roll from left to right and back. They kept right up and sounded amazing in the process!! I will get a model number tomorrow. I opologise for all the spelling errors. Its like 2 am here now and i am tired as hell............too long a night for me..........Hope you guys enjoyed it. I know I don't have the "golden ears"...................but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last month. Jordan
