Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Not as much as you might think. I left Buffalo and moved to San Diego. The first year was awesome. But after a couple years Christmas was depressing. No spring, no fall, no Christmas feeling winter...I was so happy to move to NC and have seasons again... I think when you grow up with seasons, not having them sucks... It does, but i will take no seasons stateside over in the sandbox. J

Not complaining at all. I'm saying at 5am i am enjoying it being 70. The highs have been in the upper 80's. I like hot or cold better than 70It's just nice enough for the women to show a little more skin, and yet comfortable enough with the humidity to not be sweating like a whore in church in work clothes. Also means the ac isn't needing to be on in the house much if at all. J

Neither did I.Just seems like a nice convenience but unneeded as hell.JSince when does need pertain to features in what I drive?Very good point. I guess to me a heated wheel is not a selling point.JI bought the car without so it wasn't the opposite. I did want it though. Heated seats and wheel and you hardly need heat in the car even when it is cold out. Way less drying on the eyes. That makes a lot of sense. Would the same logic also apply to cooled seats? J

I didn't take you for a smoker. Not that you have to be a smoker to enjoy vaping, but it seems like most vapers are former smokers. They do also offer 0 nicotine liquids. If you do smoke, I highly suggest you at least give it a good try... not just for your health, but for your family. Fuck Blu, dude. I was feeling like I was bound to cigs with my Blu experience. I am so glad I got with friends and started learning and trying real ecigs and AVPs. I struggled with the Blus, but really tried my best to stay off cigs. I could not be happier that I did. My service manager's wife is a heavy smoker, and she tried Blus with no success. She decided to try the G6 based on my recommendation and she dropped from 1.5 packs a day down to 2 or 3 cigs within 4 days (she just received her G6 last Tuesday). I am smoke free for 2 weeks and 2 days, and feel better. FWIW I have had some serious trials, consisting of a night of taste testing a buddy's stout and porter home brews, another night of some kick ass chocolate stouts, and of course, quite a bit of whiskey drinking, and I have been having no issues thus far. I also am glad I went with Halo gear. Their ecig (the G6) is, from what I have tried, the best of the bunch. I smoked lights and found their Turkish Tobacco to be a solid liquid for me. I also tried their Torque and Freedom and they tasted like pipes and cigars to me. I can't recall which was which, though, so I would hate to try to guess and mislead. I was so impressed with the G6 that I decided to try an AVP and had to stick with Halo. The Triton is such a good system that I am now looking at a modest mod system (which, sadly, Halo does not really offer outside of the variable voltage Triton battery which I really dig). I have also tried dripping, which is OK but not really something I think I will do regularly as I prefer the simplicity and flavor of the tank systems right now. So I am really getting into it. I am surprised though that I like many juices that are not true tobacco flavors. In fact, I have a bunch of the Turkish and I am not sure if it will get used. I just knew that I would not be a "flavor" kind of guy, but I definitely am. I can't get enough of Halo's Voodoo. I wish you lived closer, I would love to be able to let you try various methods if it meant getting you off the cigs. Just gotta find a good vape place here. The ones k have seen seem shittily made with poor materials. J

Also on the Vaping topic, I am tempted to look more into them now. Still apprehensive as the BLU sucked, and there is a lot of rumors about people having batteries go BOOM in their face. J

Olean/ friendship. J Seriously? I thought you were from Buffalo. My grandparents had 100 acres in Phillips Creek near Almond on North Road near Belmont. Do you know Palmer's pond? I spent my entire summer vacation there every year, and most weekends and holidays during the school year. I grew up down there hunting woodcock, ruffed grouse, pheasant, woodchuck, and obviously deer... Yes I do. Spent many a drunken evenings, hikes, and such out that way. As you know 98% of people you meet do not know that area worth a damn, so Buffalo makes it easier. Plus most of my family is from Kenmore/Tonawanda. J Cool! https://maps.google.com/maps?oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&q=north+road+almond+ny&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x89d18bad2741028f:0x8965e9f106862ab1,N+Rd,+Almond,+NY+14804&gl=us&ei=x4GiUqDVKoy3kAffpYC4Aw&ved=0CC4Q8gEwAA that was their property. It's western edge was the North Road itself. The unnamed road just south of ponderosa road was their driveway, and the north end of their property. It continued back close to the creek that leads straight to the east from the driveway. The south end of their property was the road next to the large field there. I used to sit at the top corner of that field and pick off woodchuck with my 22-250. Their big house was right at the pond on the property. If you follow the creek back you will see an opening. That was an old cabin they had found on the property when they bought it. They "fixed it up" and used it for years when they visited. We heated the cabin and cooked on a truly old school wood stove. It had the pull out plates on top and you dropped coils into the opening to cook. I remember when they just had an outhouse before they added a small bathroom to the side. They built the big house out front later and retired there. That is really close to the stove used to heat the cabin and cook on. Those were the best times in my life. Good memories. Looking at the map, I may have been out that way a few times. Honestly when i go home I can only comfortably do 10 days at the most. I quickly remember why I left, and why I have no real good desire to live there. J

Also, bad ass Buick. My father has a 73 Buick centurion in storage back home. Softly rusting in the corner panels due to a shitty storage unit and salt in the humid air. I want to bring it back to FL but he wants a good bit for it, and it won't be real cheap to make right either. J

Sean, I know my diet is shitty. I don't even need to write it down. I have trimmed back on sweets, and am trying to cut down on soda. Next will be processed foods. J

Mainly the smells and the texture. That 'fishy' smell or the smell of tuna turnes my stomach a bit and kills any interest in it. I have had fried haddock, large mouth bass and cod in the past and that with a shit ton of lemon and a beer batter is ok at best. J
