  1. Wouldn't stop me.Herpes never did. :rimshot: Nor 'her' penis. J
  2. Blowing your severance on something you won't have in 5 years is FUCKING STUPID. Blowing your severance on something you won't have in 5 years is FUCKING STUPID. VERY valid point. Honestly that right there is enough of the right direction for me to say no. When the Tundra was purchased I wanted a truck, and still do. I just needed a second daily driver at the time, and this fit the bill. Yes we spent a nice chunk on it, I also wasn't expecting to divorcing the wife in just over 2 years from coming back. At that time we were making decent money together. Shit happens, and I am doing my best to dust myself off and GTFO with it. I know my life is not where I expected it to be 10 years ago, or 8 years ago when I went Active Duty, a few year ago when I got married, or even 3 months ago. Shit is MUCH different than I expected. As of now the plan is this; Pay everything off (don't close the cc accounts though), have a cushion and continue to build on it. Try to make shit better for the future. I bust my ass at my job and out of over 100 people on my shift was one of 3 people put in a 'mentor' status. Meaning, that I have proven I get my job done, I know my shit, and that I can be depended on to guide others in the right direction. I know to some something as simple as this, with no pay raise is fucking worthless, and trust me being bombarded with idiotic questions that can be answered by simply reading the manual it feels like it sometimes, but to me it actually means something. J
  3. Sorry about the down vote on this. Was supposed to be an up. I hope this pans out!!!! J
  4. No, no they do not. My 4runner is well labeled, but the Camry on the other is not. This one is labeled VERY clearly. J
  5. And therein lies part of the issue. I am not 100% certain what I want. I have stated before that I would drive the damn thing till the wheels fell off, and am still partial to that plan, just wondering if its a bright idea. I'll drive a vehicle until the wheels fall off. While I know I am in the minority here, I feel it is just a way to get to and from and frankly I couldn't give a fuck about it as long as it is reliable and in the case of my "nice" vehicle it should look decent. My truck it just a work truck, and I treat it as such. I say just drive it. I haven't had a car payment in 17 years. Keep your money for more important things, like a place to live. What year Tundra? Engine and trans (manual/auto)? Trim (ie: SE/XE/TRD)? I'll look at the diagrams and lead you to a fix for the charger/lighter. 2011 SR5 with the TRD Off Road package. Automatic, 4x4, no navi, power drivers seat, back up cam. J
  6. I am stuck in a debate here guys. I love my Tundra. Minus the flakey MPG, she's been pretty great to me. But with my severance check, I am debating on spending about 20k paying her off, or trading it in on something else. The ONLY issues I have had is over the last two weeks my cigarette lighters/charging ports quit working(changed fuse tonight but no change) the USB quit charging my cell (prolly bad cable as it charged my iPod fine) and the antenna came loose today. She does everything I ask and has ample room (comfortable fit 3 220lb+ men and 2 women in it for a 3 hr each way trip two weeks ago) and the towing has been great to me. I just. Don't know if I should get something else. I have been contemplating a Raptor, a Jeep STR8, or a F150 harley edition. J
  7. The company isn't what it was a long time ago. And jobs was the key IMHO. The 'usefullness' of a iPad is very limited, I can agree with that. It certainly takes getting used to. J
  8. Get well soon lil man!!!! Sorry to hear about the dietary restrictions. Is it something he can/will 'grow out of'? J
  9. I cannot wait to buy a new toy. But that's a few more years off. J
  10. Nice!Awesome!AgreedShe's a beauty!!!! J
  11. It's something we have mentioned before, to no avail. J
  12. Auto buying, the hardest purchase to make. J
  13. When I get my clusters I will snort up one or 2 a day for a few weeks before my other meds stop them. Headaches so bad u have to snort meds? Ugh fuck that. J
  14. No, a couple doctor guys I know recommended to try it. I have kind of learned to cope. Oddly enough I just learned about this in the past two weeks. Someday I need to break down and go see an ENT specialist. I get massive headaches that start in my ear and the back part of my head and radiate thru my neck and the top of my skull. J
  15. I miss paying PS3 lately. J
  16. So no unpainted boxes? So guys who have carpet are fucked? Beat him big time. J
  17. Ask for it for sure. You might get suprised. However, you have to realise they will be chewing up your medical and vacation and retirement benefits. This the DOD job? That is done at a set price. Medical I am still covered for another almost 200 days under TriCare from the Army (transition coverage) and I have full VA medical if needed. I will have to buy into tho, as my daughter needs it. Retirement, I will be looking into once I go with The company full on. Thru the temp agency it is a joke. J
  18. Speaking of negotiation, I will be going from the temp agency to a direct position in the company in the next month or two. Currently those of us who came from the same agency are getting 18 an hour. From what we have been told the staffing agency is paid between 21 and 23 an hour for us. Considering that my production numbers are always well over what is expected, my accuracy is stellar, and I have been 'un officially' put into a mentor status by the shift manager, would I be out of line by asking for 25 an hour when the time comes? J
  19. I didn't realize you were that big. I can't imagine myself an inch taller with 50 extra lbs of muscle. Earlier this year, I have improved my BFP since and picked up a pinch of mass. Glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't skip legs in the gym. Speaking of that, I am truly missing working out. I cannot wait to be in my new place. J
  20. I agree, such an antiquated factor. Could you pay for a dip test to show your TRUE bf% and possibly get them to lower the rate based upon current formulas, and not ancient myth? I say this because BMI is not only antiquated, but such a piss poor way to judge health. J
  21. Minnesota and Wisconsin are basically just one large state to me. Texas and Oklahoma are basically just one large state to me Fixed that for ya I was being mean on purpose. You said cheeseland was the same as here. Go meet the people, you'll change your mind quick.Much like NY and MA or NJ. J

Sorry to hear about this. It's never easy. J
  23. That's freaking awesome J, you made that kids day that much better! It's pretty rare to catch a ball at a game! Maybe you can find someone that dvr'd the game? That is a big thing I miss about living in SoCal. I am not a big baseball fan by any means... watching on TV is so fucking boring to me, but I love going to a pro game. I went to several Padres games and starting dating a broad who lived in Anaheim who loved going to Angels games so I saw a shit ton of them. The farm team games suck. Always stupid shit going on between innings, but I love being at an MLB game. Glad to hear you had a good time.> The farm team games in Buffalo used to be pretty good. Got to see and get autographs of some names when I was a kid. Manny and alex Ramirez, Bartolo Colon, Richie Sexton, Enar Diaz, and a few more. As far as catching the ball, I just got lucky. I hope to see the replay sometime soon. J I did love Bisons games. Used to go to them all the time. Our local farm teams here suck, though. I went to Bison games as a kid as well. Of course that would be the NDSU Bison, lolCollege baseball as well as minor league ball in AZ was shit at best. I needed a dose of good baseball. Might have to go catch my Yankees next weekend. J
