  1. Nice job man. J
  2. Lucky is an understatement. J
  3. Please do... I have 1/2 a bottle of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked in me now, but IMO a lot more needs to be enjoyed for this occasion. Thanks, bud. To me, this is huge. This is such a big move to an extremely progressive shop and the opportunity for advancement is tremendous. A new location is in the works by the end of next year, and the possibility of promotion are massive. The guy who's job I am taking is currently running the show, and I am much better at my job than he is, and I have a lot more experience then he does in my current position. Hopefully I will be running a shop, completely, by the end of next year. Congrats again man!!! I'm sure this will be a great job for you. J
  4. Nice to see a hospital do that. what appalls me is that my insurence pays out maybe 10- 35% of what the billed price is, and that satisfies them. It's just odd. J
  5. They reneged on a contract? No, can't say publicly, PM if you want.I couldn't agree more, but wanted a few other people's thoughts as well. J
  6. All good places. J
  7. ABS is one I have seen before, and I doubt it is. They usually don't have that darker body color. J
  8. Looks good man. Switching the seat belts over to black to make it match too? What site are you using for parts? If I can help you find parts let me know. I did a lot of searching for stuff for my 3rd gen and still have ample links saved. J
  9. I look forward to learning about your company, as this is the first I have heard of them. Any pictures, specs or information you can provide? J
  10. Keep the pictures coming man. While I would never own an insect or reptile, and am not really a fan of holding them, they still fascinate me, and are cool to see. J
  11. Another interview today. Did some 'power posing' before I left the house, and it went great. I have a follow up interview Tuesday, should. Hear something from Lowes today, and a DOD interview for a 3-6 month contract Thursday. Going to apply for a janitor (basically maintenance tech actually) at a nursing home tonight. Really hoping for the DOD contract because while it is shorter term, it pays the best of the options at the moment, looks great on the resume, and has potential to lead to other options. I mean the pay breaks down like this Lowes- 10 an hr and decent drive time but SHITTY drive DirectTV- 10-16 an hr (negotiated next interview) and commission with a boring commute but its sales at various places such as Sams Club, Best Buy, etc. DOD- 18 an hr decent drive and not a bad commute unless the weather is shit as I have to drive across the bay, still working with the Military, and uses my security clearance to my advantage. Janitor- 12 an hr not a bad drive and my brother works for the same company but in a different capacity. 3/4 have room to move up, and the 1/4 left over has opportunity for other jobs that should pay as well if not better. IMO the DOD job is the one to take if offered. I am still having a hard time being away from the Military (as much as I hated it at times), and this could help me stay with people of a similar mindset. J
  12. Bad ass scorpion. J
  13. Well played. J
  14. Watched the video, and you are right. It has some great points, and is something I'll be trying out over the next few interviews. Especially at the DOD interview, and th Verizon FIOS one. J
  15. I'll check it out tonight. J
  16. Interviewing is always good practice. Remember to stretch and practice a power pose before you interview.Increases the likelyhood of an offer by some nonsense amount. Seriously stupid increase. They are rolling in. Hope something pans out soon for you. Well I have been applying for or submitting my resume to between 10 to 30 jobs per day. Some I have ZERO business applying for, but if I can land the intzerview I have a shot atlanding the job.J I can see the use of a power pose, but i don't see me getting much success by doing my best Bruce Banner.I just sit with good posture, have a firm handshake, use proper English, no cursing, and let my body language show that I mean business. J You do the power pose before the interview. Didn't you watch the TED talk I posted?I've been doing it for years, science just finally caught up with me to prove I was right all along. I may have missed it. Damn iPad doesn't show embedded videos. Re post? J
  17. Dude u should talk to Mark about getting a section on here. A lot of us have amps that need work at reasonable/cheap pricing. Hell once my stuff gets out of shipping I've got a Kicker I'll send your way for a project. J

  20. Lowes interview seemed to go well. First time in almost 10 years that wasn't over a drink or just for a new position. Also got initially contacted for an Account Executive position with Verizon FIOS. J
  21. Cold that day or just hate shorts? J
  22. That's nuts. Granted I always just replaced mine as the leather was usually uncleanable by the time the soled were shot. J
  23. Only one....and already craving a beer and the beach. J
  24. Well its bed time. Sent in my resume to 30+ new places this evening so lets see. J
  25. Nice find peng. Wonder how long it took? J
