  1. It's been an adventure. A lot of shit on the horizon now. A lot of things now proving they need to change too. J
  2. Only things Samsung makes I like is their TV sets and refrigerators. Phones and computers; Apple for me. Then again, for my uses, they work perfectly 97% of the time. The lack of Mac version of MS Project sucks, but then again so does that program IMO. J
  3. You aren't wrong. Granted that small Toshiba held up better than the Dell or HP laptops I had before it. I chose that low end Toshiba because the full size one I got back in 2008 lasted 2 years before death by plane. Honestly that wasn't it's fault. Apple does suck to use with Windows and vice versa. J
  4. For people who want reliable plug and play, solid graphics, 24/7 customer support, and who aren't looking to over clock and modify the whole system.....Yes. Yes it does. For photo work, the last year of college, and travel I've thoroughly enjoyed the shit out of my MacBook Pros. Yes plural. One full sized top of the line for photography and photography only. Then a smaller but damn near as powerful one for school, designing and cutting decals, reviews, travel, etc. After having to work with 5 year old iMac's and seeing how well they worked compared to the brand new 'top of the line' Windows computers at school.....I'll take the Mac all day long. I'm sure the guts and everything else made a massive difference. I just know they were the best way to go for me when my 2015 Toshiba Laptop croaked from pulling double duty. J
  5. Agreed. Sorry about that. The iPhone does .JPG files, but the MacBook converted them upon airdrop. J
  6. You're a damn machine man. Insanely proud to see ya keeping on top of things and going forward with healthy answers bro. J
  7. Thanks Guys. I wish I knew why it wasn't loading for you. Might be the file extension? Just some graduation pics. Currently doing the job hunt, and looking at how to make the resume better. The trimmed fat version versus the Federal version is insanely different. J
  8. Figured I'd share a few shots from Saturday. J IMG_4569.HEIC IMG_1410.HEIC IMG_7824.HEIC
  9. Back in NY I actually have a few of those. J
  10. I know that all too well. J
  11. Thanks man. Won't be graduating Magna Cum Laude or anything like that, but the job is done. Graduation Saturday. Eleventh 'school' graduation since 2003. Eight with the Army; AS in Photographic Technology, Gen AA, and now a BAS in Management and Organizational Leadership with a Concentration in Project Management. While not anything to 'brag' about, the actual degrees have been obtained consecutively in the last 4 years, no failed or dropped classes, and going full time Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters (minus one summer where nothing I needed was offered). Still happy to be graduating with a somewhat acceptable GPA. J
  12. Got the grades in for the presentation. The team as a whole received an 89 with no real feedback on what we did right/wrong in their eyes. However, I looked at my gradebook and I actually received a 94.5 with a note that said 'Jordan, I have increased your score for the presentation. Your individual work was stronger than the team.' Made me damn proud to see that they enjoyed my presentation and the testimonials. I was really surprised nobody else had done that before. J
  13. One hell of a plan. I hope the doctors have him on a solid plan and are helping him. J
  14. Agreed man. J
  15. Ripped your backdoor wide open, and scraped the casing? Fuckin A man. I'm no expert in having your asshole scraped, but if ya need an ear feel free to get a hold of me. J
  16. Thanks mang. Waiting on the final scores for the rest of the stuff to come through. J
  17. Damn man. Hope they get that gerbil out!!! All jokes aside, best of luck man. I couldn't fathom being told I needed to be anally violated again because they didn't go deep enough before. J
  18. Thanks Sean. It actually went great. Out of the 5 professors we did this for, 3 of them (all female) told me directly (and not the other two) "You are a natural at this. You are so confident and comfortable. It's great." They also praised our celebrity testimonials that I procured. Apparently nobody had done that before. The only male professor there shouted out 'cut and paste!!' and when I asked what he meant, he suggested I imposed a voice over. I quickly informed him of what I had done and why. He seemed impressed. Time for the final, and to do some tidy up shit before Wednesday. Graduation in a little over a week. J
  19. Appreciate it man. I know once I get in there I'll be fine. J
  20. For any of ya who happen to see this before tomorrow at 1130 EST, I'll be making my capstone presentation, and I'm hoping it goes really well. Feel free to toss up a novena for me if that's your style. I've presented on no notice to 4 star Generals before and never had a problem. Unfortunately one of my group members is so worried the shit now has me stressed the hell out. J
  21. I always enjoy that too. That being said, minus when I was in uniform I wouldn't take them up on it. Speaking there of, I'll have the pleasure of flying with them through Detroit and Atlanta later this month. J
  22. I only went out Black Friday for a class meeting, pick up some guitar parts for a project, along with a cheap acoustic for a wrestling match and to get two games at Best Buy. The guitar shops were packed but it was easy going. Best Buy was insane, but their computer dept checkout made it easier. J
  23. Enjoy the turkey day guys. Hope all goes smoothly. J
  24. Makes sense. J
  25. Becoming money pits? J
