I've been haggling with a recycler for over a year on an engine they want $1K for. I've offered them $800 and they still refuse. It's been sitting there for 1.5 years and they won't deal for $200 less. Oh well. I know the feeling. There's a local audio shop that still has shit from the mid 90s that he absolutely refuses to sell anywhere close to a reasonable price for 15-year-old equipment. Alpine Type X components, Phoenix Gold Cyclones, Phoenix Gold Ti amps, Pioneer Premier everything, original Soundstream Rubicon amps, etc. The guy is loaded w/ primo shit that I would love to have. I've been haggling with this guy every so often for like the last 10 years ... Sounds like one of the local shops here. J

Barefoot FTW! I have a good friend whose been barefoot running, nutrition, and paleo diet for years, so that definitely helps. There is a reason we have evolved and started wearing something to protect our feet, What reason is that? Everything I have read says we could EASILY of stayed barefoot and been just fine. Saying that is like saying that justin bieber and lady gaga is the result of evolution from bands like Guns and Roses, Poison, Led Zepplin, Def Leppard, and more. J I'm sorry,but that analogy is so far off base, but technically all "music" is an evolution of that before it. Gaga and Beiber may have some way been influenced by them. Back to the feet. While we may not have a NEED for shoes or clothes, the evolution of our brains to produce such textiles to adapt to our environment is evolution. We don't need modern medicine or practices either, but we have evolved to use them. They are all tools built out of a necessity, just like our arms, legs,fingers, yell, every part of us. I guess I couldn't word it well. I see what you are saying now that you have explained a bit more, but I think your bodies have become 'soft' due to all the cushioned shoes and surfaces we walk on. Mine is connected to the Natural Gas...but of course, if it were only a propane tank I could burn through one in something like 5 hours. lol How do you like the natural gas in comparison to propane? I have cooked (some) and eaten food cooked off both, but have never done a fair comparison. J

What about re-coning the 'abnormal' speakers like the Solobaric L7? I want to retain the original cone and basket design but it needs new coils? I'd gladly send it off to get new soft parts, but kicker refuses to do it. They just charge xyz and send you a new one. J

I wouldn't call it an accident. But yes. J I heard some short snippet, but wasn't sure what all happened. drinking, riding bikes back home late at night, crashed/hit by car, other soldier stopped to help, and got hit by car?
