There are better .45's than Kimber, they don't exactly have the best track record. If you are going to carry, get actual training and keep up on it. The caliber debate is worthless, what a .45 gives you over a 9mm is personal preference, little different shooting gun, and less magazine capacity. For all practical purposes it is not superior in stopping power. I beg to differ on the caliber debate. I have seen people shot with both 9mm (beretta) and .45 (glock) and the deceased I have seen from the .45 were dropped with less rounds fired than with the 9mm. I have seen a hadji who had taken 4 9mm rounds to the upper body (upper stomach/chest area) and still kept going. Then I have seen another (similar dress, age and build) take one .45 round to the same area and drop dead. For my money i'll take the .45 J

I have a few DD amps, a kicker 800.4, an old sony (the first line after mobile ES......not great but not bad) and 2 old RF amps. All able to power a good componant setup. As for h/u, right now its a POS JVC. I am plan ning on changing that out for a Pioneer or Alpine soon. Processing.....nothing at the moment. I was looking at the RF 360.2 J

Hell I got 4 Bravox 8" 'subs' sitting on my shelf taking up room.......... God I may need to amp my front stage after all. J

Full depth is about 3 inches when the glass is down on the doors. I have no problem having the panels glassed to make room for componants in the doors. J

As the title said I am looking for the best options for my install. I am thinking of just using the HU power beacuse I honestly don't want an amp in there right now. I have a mediocre at best JVC HU for the moment, and stock speakers. The dash takes 4" speakers and the back (which I could give a shit less about) is 6x8 IIRC. Sean (M5) had asked for some pictures with a 3" circle around the A pillar (if I understood right). Well Sean all I had laying around is a 2" challenge coin so hopefully this will work nonetheless. My goals are loud, clear-ish (not a SQ guru but I know what muddy music and just off music sounds like) music for daily driving around. Especially with the T-tops off. In the car I typically listen to hair metal, classic rock, new rock, and some rap too. Think bands like Guns N Roses, Metallica, Godsmack, Pantera, Megadeath, Atmosphere, Rob zombie, Disturbed, etc. I'd like some ideasas to what in theory could yield the best results and why. I will tell you this, kick panels are OUT. I drive a manual and need the foot well room.

Got myself a lil something this week. J

I've fired a small chunk of firearms and my personal choice for daily carry is my Smith and Wesson M&P edition .45. Good capacity, great knockdown power, and its accurate as shit. The adjustable grips are quite a perk as well. I have fired the Glocks, and they are damn fine firearms. In my chosen profession, quite often you will see our civilian workers, and special forces soldiers carrying the Glocks as well. Also, NUMEROUS foreign forces carry Glock. The tips on firing as many different pistols as possible, and not purchasing just on price is a great tip. J

Change the Budweiser for Labatts or Molson Canadian and its a Buffalo, NY platter. I've seen these sold at the sports bars. Easier to carry around and still smoke a cig. From L to right. 1/2 of a Beef on Weck Potato Chips (should be Troyer Farms and not Wavy Lays Medium wings from the anchor Bar J

I don't understand how shops that sell parts and small things (ie paint supply shops) how they can only be open m-f 9-5. Most people use the weekends to get supplies and do stuff. J
