  1. These past 2 weeks have been pretty shitty. Except for the weekends. Those have kicked ass. J
  2. It'll go down once the oil warms up. Something is off. Unless it has an oil cooler, which I doubt, there are no oil lines needing changed. Everything will be internal. Only thing I can think of is they used an engine flush and something got into the pan and the oil pickup. Pull the oil cap off. If there is sludge, you'll see it right away. Check the PCV valve. No oil cooler. I'll look inside the cap later today. Stupid ? but should I be looking warm or cold? J Doesn't matter. If there is sludge, you'll see it. . . Unless they performed a flush. I don't see 'sludge' per se. Just some oil. This is when I opened the 'oil fill area' cap. J

  4. Another 'thought' was that with the 138k on the ticker maybe the lines were a bit clogged and she may need a line change. Might have sludge build up. Mechanically I am thinking in no real order Plugs and wires All lines replaced New oil pump New Water Pump New radiator New Calipers J
  5. Before the oil change average PSI was between 30-45. How long should she run 'high' after an oil change? She went from a regular 10W30 to a Valvoline Max Life 5W30. Wife is starting to get a tad touchy about the cost as the brakes, rotars and oil were about 800. Including labor. J
  6. And now its leveled off..............but still spiking near the max (60 highest number). Something is off. Oh yea and my boy looked underneath............bell housing is chunked. Joy. J
  7. Got new brakes and an oil change on the firebird.................now the damn oil pressure is goin sky fuckin high. J
  8. She should've had that before marrying you. In all seriousness, I hope it goes well. LOL!!! VERY similar things have been said by some of our best friends. We were doing a rollover drill while we were in Kuwait before heading to Iraq. Well when the 'truck' rolled her seatbelt didnt lock. Add in an easy 35 lbs over her body weight and all of it coming crashing down onto her head (with a padded kevlar on). Well that rung her bell fuckin horribly. 2 days later and she was still having splitting headaches and couldn't remember very simple shit. Now they are looking to see if she suffered a brain injury here. This 'concussion' may have really fucked her head up (more than it was before) , and its not fun for either of us. Just sucks when you can't do a whole lot to help. J
