Bring back the life of the paint
The new 'go fast car' has a meh interior, and would look really good once she gets re-painted. In the mean time what can I do to take pretty 'flat' red paint shine? She has clear coat, but doesn't have that shiny wet look I want. Can I get some tips to get it there? J

Welcome to the IHoP
Thanks guys. I love the truck. She runs great and I do have some fun tooling around with it. As for the DD's they just got in yesterday morning. Sadly I am not going to do a stereo system in this. I REALLY do not want to void the warranty on this truck by upgrading the alts, adding batteries and modifying the hell out of it. IF I can find a 'boom boom truck' for this type of fun then yea I'll keep them. As of right now though, they will prolly get sold. I have a price in mind and won't sell them for less as I don't NEED the money. Aslo expect pictures of the new 'go fast' car. J

And the video isn't much just a little something. Didn't look as impressive as it felt LOL. J

Welcome to the IHoP
Thanks guys. Sadly due to the warranty she will not have any massive changes. Tint is a must, and past tht maybe some more aggressive tires. The lift or bigger rim size (such as 20" rims) can void parts of the warranty. It has XM radio and is a damn nice truck. I just don't want to void that for once. If I wasn't wanting to keep that in tact, it would get a lift, bigger tires, tint, a full nav deck, and a nice stereo. But for now I am content. Wife doesn't think I can resist for long. J

Welcome to the IHoP
I hope this one works out better for you J. X2!! Seems you have been through a nightmare!!! Hope this truck is the turn-around from that! Thanks guys a brand new truck (had 13 miles on it when I test drove it the day before yesterday) shouldn't have issues. If it does I have the extended warranty. J Congrats and good luck ! What did you end up getting ? Since the monsoon is killing my ability to get pictures (damn me for doing other shit on lunch) its a 2011 Toyota Tundra quad cab. Not the biggest they offer but its damn roomy. 5.7L V8 auto tranny, 4x4 with the TRD package and backup camera. No navigation. J Nice. The Tundras are pretty good trucks. They copied a good design. Thanks.........pics tomorrow.

Welcome to the IHoP
I honestly would prefer not to have to do either to the poor bastard's. In my defense, the dog only get's feed twice a day and the food is suppose to be in a locked outdoor closet, BUT my daughter broke the lock. At this point I will attemp to fix the lock or move the dog's food back in the house as I agree that they will just come back anyway's. I see both sides of this argument, but IMO the potential of rabies with this species is rather high. With domesticated animals, and children in the area it becomes a matter of mitigating your risk. Were they there first? More than likely. But they need to keep their distance. J I agree completely with keeping the animals away, but if anything you're much better off calling animal control if you think it's rabid, that's a whole other box of worms you don't want to shoot open :-P (and from the sounds of it it's just exhibitng normal coon behavior, rabid animals behave....rabidly This is true if the animal is showing rabid signs they need animal control, if for no other reason than reporting it. I just know if you conduct population control it can help. J
