We used to fish at palmer's pond. I am sure if you know the area you know that. Their property was on the North Road, up in Almond. North Road started where they kept the large graters and plows right at the W Almond exit. It has been 20+ years since I was there last but i assume the storage building is still there. Been there a few times...............but not in years. J

Last time the Sabres made the Stanley Cup we lost due to a rule change, done during the playoffs the public didn't hear about until after 'No Goal'. J Crease violation and actually it was changed the following year. Brett Hull, playing for the Stars scored the goal in triple overtime. I still have nightmares about it. He was clearly in the crease before the shot, but IMO the officials were so frikken tired they just gave the game away. I'm from the southern Tier (Olean) and grew up a fan of the Sabres, Bills, and Yanks. No other way in my family. J No shit? I went to SUNY Alfred. My grandparents had a chunk of property in Philips Creek, just off the West Almond exit on 17, not terribly far from olean. I know all about those area's man. I graduated down the 17 in Friendship as my mom was a teacher there...............I claim Olean beacuse I was born there, left for Friendship as a kid, and left for the Army and came back to Olean until I left for active duty. J

And yea they changed a bunch of shit around to fuck us. Buffalo has bad luck/chips stacked against us. Damn points spread. J

When in AZ the top places to grab food when out and about for me and the Mrs. are below In and Out Burger Olive Garden Texas Roadhouse. Not anything healthy but oh so fucking good. Well I guess texas has an ability to be semi healthy. Depending on what you order. J Ouch. I feel sorry for you. 3 places I will definitely not eat. Due to lack of nutrition? or taste? J

Agreed. If they didn't exist they would have others to fill their spots. Our DFAC doesn't have fresh anything. Salad bar is usually brown, and 75% of the shit they serve is deep fried. Its designed for the fat boys out here sadly....... What can I say I am used to processed shit. I love and prefer hommade food..........Just not an option here, and often wasn't too good an option when I was home. Should change when I return. J

Imagine that, they sell inedible food. I wish McPukes, BurgerK, Wendys and TacoBell would follow suite. The world would be a way better place without them. Sean I can understand where you're coming from. But I will say this, for us Taco Hell and Subway are a welcome taste of home for about 90% of us, at least once in awhile if I had to guess. So honestly I am happy having them around. Don't give me wrong, I eat at a lot of Mom&Pop resturants at home, but out here they aren't as prevelant. J
