  1. Yikes. That's a big change. That being said, it might bring a lot of new opportunities. Are you able to telecommute or move your position? J
  2. Congrats to her. Any prayer of at least partial telecommuting? J
  3. Damn interesting there.
  4. My whole team has now had works with the academic chairperson about this. To say that 1/6th of the class has the same concerns (and more than likely more) in a class of 30 certainly says something about the course and/or the professor. J
  5. I have no problem with that. When your text is all case studies on risk management, and your questions are directly referencing the chapter the question is drawn from, I have a problem. When you do not release my answers without asking so I can conduct a check on learning, I have a problem. When you base an response to our discontent with your quizzes on 'this is a 3000 level course and it will be more difficult' yet I no other class in 3000 or 4000 level does this, I have a problem. Hell I'm taking 2 4000 level classes as well and acing them. These are all 8 week 'express' classes, thus 1.5x full time. Had a nice conversation with the professor over this program. Got a nice response, but pawned off as an issue of the 'course owner' and they have been hearing this for some time. Translation; do the work, but not much will change now. Hopefully it is at least fixed for the person behind me. J
  6. Sorry to hear man. Does he have any favorite foods or treats? Might love to enjoy some. J
  7. 2/3 of my express classes are going great. One class is going fucking horribly. Professor is a younger adjunct professor, who loves making her 'quizzes' based upon paraphrasing the chapter's content, and making the questions ambiguous. While we are given 60 minutes for 20 questions, the wording makes finding the answer to the question incredibly difficult. Needless to say after consulting with another professor who is a full time professor, I'll be speaking to the head of the department tomorrow or Monday. J
  8. On the plus side, decals are slowly selling more by the week. I need to squeek out some time for creating new designs though. J
  9. I would like to publicly announce my hatred for MS Project. Aside from not being available for Mac, the usability of it is shit, tutorials are convoluted, and being thrown into using it with no 'training' besides shitty online videos is fucking useless. J
  10. Judging from the clients who came in when I was visiting.....I am not surprised at all. J
  11. Also, one vote for Tundra's. I have a 2011 amd love the damn thing. For a truck this size, the 5.7 hauls ass. J
  12. Hello old chaps!!! One half the semester down, one half to go. Everything goes according to plan, and I'll graduate with my Bachelors in December. J
  13. Sorry to hear Ryan. Family holding on ok? J
  14. Those same high standards are the reason my left arm has had no additions since I last saw you. J
  15. That's awesome bro!!! I still say 'Go Gators' simply in the hopes that you and the wifey relocate down here. J
  16. I think I'm in the minority here about FB. Much like IG it's an outlet for me to get my photo work out there and to advertise for Sticker Bomb Direct (vinyl decal company I took over from a fellow Veteran). That being said, I also use it to keep up to date with my Military family, and to pull some inspiration from artistically from time to time. J
  17. Let's see here; Tickets acquired Bags packed Going through ATL from Tampa with shit weather First flight for my "kid sister" (roomie and best friend) First Hockey game for the kiddo and same sister's first game IN Buffalo Should make for a good Christmas back in NY. Too bad no real snow in the forecast. J
  18. Speaking of the Mobile ES line, anyone interested in one of their underlit dealer signs? I have one sitting here and I don't see using it at all anytime soon. J
  19. Busy as hell eh Jared? J
  20. Find yourself needing a couch and a warmer climate, just let me know. J
  21. BTW, does anyone have a hookup with company that makes custom challenge coins? I've contacted numerous companies, and the price per coin isn't bad (especially for the quality), but I'd like to see if I can do better. J
  22. I wanted put in for their tour this past summer, and as my editor was slow as all get out on responding about coverage, I put in at a safer venue (85% approval rate vs 10% at the other) I submitted for Dave Matthews instead. Got shut out unfortunately. This weekend looks to be Dave Elefson of Megadeth, and 'Head' Welch of Korn (among others) Saturday and Sunday. J
  23. I'd love to own one down the line. Other priorities are well above a new car. J
  24. Appreciate it guys!! That is Noodles. He is a great guy, and that 'up neck' shot is one of my favorite concert photos to date. J
