  1. I'm actually trying to track down a bootleg LP. A 'Chibson' if you will. Wish I had people in Thailand, Korean, Japan, etc. Hate paying 300 for a bootleg LP Custom/Studio when I can get an LP Special II for under that. J
  2. I reiterate what I said. People ar already starting to buy them up and driving resale pricing higher. J
  3. Great grabs. if you want an LP get it in the next 180 days. They are looking to undergo massive changes very very soon. J
  4. I'm also stuck in debate. For the first time since I moved here I'm getting the itch to move. Where to, I don't know. I'm just starting to think I can find more for my future in photography. J
  5. Still got the same cell? I'll send ya a few bs pictures of it. Also, when did you get a bass and what did ya pickup? I remember the Jackson hunt. J
  6. Hey there Aaron!! Woot is right!!! She fingers like a dream. J
  7. Oh, and I wheeled and dealed really well the other day, at least in my opinion. Picked up an 8 string Jackson guitar and a MIM Fender Jazz Bass in red wine. Paid 275 plus tax for them (tagged at 500 for the pair) at a local pawn shop for a photo series I am working on (and I love the Jazz bass). Went to a local large guitar store and traded them in. Picked up a Fretless Fender Jazz Bass (used and marked 299.99), digital tuner, and 200 in store credit for em. So I either paid 75 bucks for a MIM Fretless Fender Jazz Bass or was paid 200 to take it. All depends on how you see it LOL J
  8. *edit* double post. I have also recently re-discovered a true love for music of the late 80's - early 2000's. J
  9. I really appreciate that Sean. Means a great deal coming from you. I'm working on better for myself. A big part of that is taking this 'semester' just for school and photography. No work, just creating. I'm fortunate enough that I can afford to do that now. It's tight, but I can do it. Downfall is, I've put on 20 lbs and gotta lose it now LOL J
  10. To be fair (although no excuse) I had 5 abusive calls in a row, and this one went on and on about how I was a dumbass, all because her TV had an issue. Refused to three way with us and them despite having called for the same issue 9 prior times in the last 3 months. I thought I had ended that call or at least muted my mic. Well I forgot to mute it, and my computer lagged on me. As for what is new, I completed my AA in Photographic Technology, and my certification for Digital Photography. Currently finishing my Gen AA, and debating on what is next. To be honest I find myself lost. Working on a few new photo series with guitars (looking for more electrics too), and working on building a better following. Need to order new business cards too. J
  11. Glad to see we still have a functioning iHop J
  12. Heal up quickly Neal!!! J
  13. So ignoring bigger cities, where would you go? J
  14. Full frame D750 is what I'm using these days. The 50 would have been for basic street shots, and the 70-200 for others. Possibly bring a 24-70 with me as well. J
  15. I was thinking of theming the series around the architecture and setup of the city. Kind of a 'street photography' idea. Walk the first day with the 50mm and go from there. J
  16. The idea is to explore a city I'll probably never have a reason to visit again, to get shots others won't have, and most importantly to have an experience that I kinda shit the bed on a lot in my 20's. I still kick my own ass on missing a lot of opportunities to travel before. I want to rectify that mistake with some buddies I can trust to watch my back. Memphis and Nashville are on the list of ideas, but I do want to avoid 'touristy' cities. 3/4 of these cities have touristy reasons to visit. Omaha, Oklahoma City, Cheyenne, Little Rock, etc. all are cities people don't usually visit to photograph. Call it something 'dumb' for no other reason than it just sounds fun. J
  17. Planning on leaving out of Tampa. Could drive to Orlando or just make this a road trip. With a 4 day plan, flying would be the best route. J
  18. Okay random interesting question; budget is 300 dollars for airfare (no points) round trip for a 4 day weekend in a 'random' city in the US besides LA, NYC, LV, Chicago, Dallas, and DC. Aka none of the MAJOR touristy spots. Where would you go and why? The purpose of the trip is to shoot photos, see some of the city only the locals really get, and experience the food. A friend and I are debating doing this for a landscapes assignment. A new version of the 'college road trip' J
  19. I've taken out some due to piss poor prior planning in my part. Amen. No sense in bitching, just do it. J
  20. I'll be damned......how ya'll did/do fulltime school and work is beyond me. Just 2 online classes and 2 in person photography classes is kicking my ass in a sense. J
  21. Appreciate it. I'm just puttering along. I'll start my last semester for the AS in Photography. Debating whats next now. J
  22. Appreciate the feedback Sean. They do make a kit for my truck. I'll be doin more research this week. I miss louder quality tunes. J
  23. BTW Neal, how much of a PITA has installing aftermarket audio in your Yota been? I'm noticing the stock isn't as loud as it once was, and I'm debating on upgrading. Really like the stock look on this unit though. J
  24. I did notice your name a but more than before. J
  25. Seems like a nice project. Great find!!! J
