  5. PM sent Sean. J
  6. I should say contacts, not hook ups. J
  7. Does anyone have hook ups with Shure, Sennheiser, or Audio-Technica? Looking to discuss possible business opportunities If more info as to my end goal and what I need is required please PM me. J
  8. Shitty day for me as well. For very different reasons though. J
  9. I need a night like that real soon. Like REAL soon. J
  10. None of us are. Hell I spend my time 'working', doing homework, going to the doctor, doing research, wrestling, and sleeping. The bar, getting shit housed, or shit there of has become a foreign thing. J
  11. Build a slot port and skip the pvc. you can also bend it by heating it with a blow torch. Is it 'safe', a perfect solution or smell good? NOPE. But it can work. J
  12. Look at Stefan.....gettin him some sex. also 'Team Skip' is a protein blend from TureNutrition. It's a great all around blend and can really be usefull for supplimentation. J
  13. Base the amperage on what your amp will pull and what you plan to pull in the future. As for thespeaker wire, I usually run 16AWG for my componants, and a minimum of 10 AWG for my sub.
  14. God how I miss using speed loaders at the range. Nothing like a full magazine in under a minute. J
  15. Well I would look for something that soecifically does front and sub outputs. Not just any ol two outputs. The speakers shouldn't be covering your lowend at all. Lower midrange sure, but not what a sub does. Not at the frequency range of a high end set of components to see what I mean. Good job keeping the budget in mind. Wiring is one of those things where over kill is better than under kill. Look at what you will be pulling for aperage in the future. Not just what will do for now. No sense in paying for wire twice right? Get what you need first. J
  16. Easiest way to do it is to purchase a HU with front, rear and sub pre amps. You will only need the front and sub. Purchase a set of well made componants, a solid amp, and get a quality install performed. If you sre willing to do it yourself, there are ample tutorials online, and with 'plug and play' harnesses for your vehicle, installation is rather simplified. One thing you are not factoring in (since you want amps and a sub) is wiring material, and a box. Keep in mind just like with the installation of the components, the box for the subwoofer can really make or break the quality. J
  17. I need to get my ass back in the gym. Maybe grab a few friends from work and go with them. J
  18. Matt had some great ones. Being as I can only go on how you are, perhaps a great dinner, perhaps some live music, and a total stress free weekend. No kids, nothing 'surprising' and a bunch of reminders of how young she still is. The only other thing that jumps to mind would be a couples day at the spa. Massages and such for the two of you. It might help you both decompress. J
  19. Finally picked up a new piece of glass. Should be here Monday. Nikon 50mm 1.4. I looked at the 1.2 but as I wanted to avoid the f/stop ring and instead wanted to adjust it on the body of the camera itself, I went with a newer and obveously cheaper (compared to the 1.2) model. J
  20. I saw the update, but it wouldn't quote correctly. If we can do anything, let us know man. Even if it's just an ear to bend. J
  21. That is the type of service and treatment that would drive me to look at a BMW if I was in the serious market for a different vehicle. J
  22. I love the new forum but I notice one thing missing; the birthdays. It's kinda screwed but I looked forward to the silliness on here on my birthday more than I did the wishes from many other people. J
  23. Sorry for not telling you guys about that when it was announced. To be honest school and everything else has had my mind so occupied that I have not seen a gym in a few months. But tomorrow I get to pull a fire truck with my coworkers. J
  24. How about a contest to name the next entry into the SSA brand? A woofer, amp, fuse holder, etc. Member with the winning entry gets one free. J
  25. I learned to do this the hard way. After pissing away money and (more importantly) time doing shit wrong, or with things that are 'good enough for now' instead of 'made to last'. I learned how to do shit correctly. Or at least more correctly than I used to. J
