I am with you I agree to a point. At this point 10 years ago I was prepping to go on Active Duty. While I had less cares then, I also was far less resiliant and had a much worse temper. I miss the fun from 10 years ago. That is for damn sure. J

He so far has done alot to explain how to use excel for stats, but we are just beginning to get into the meat and potatoes and I'd like to ensure I completely understand as math has always been a poor subject for me. Heck the DPMS rifle that lost the contract for the seals is pretty epic too.I just purchased new furniture for my AR10 today and they gave me the wrong part. I missed it too but I asked the tickets at the shop if the PRS stock I was grabbing was for AR10 or AR15. Sure as shit, it is the AR15 part. I did score a nice 25 round Pmag and a nice little 10 rounder. Also grabbed a nice new grip. Good stuff. I want just to have because he makes a stromtrooper edition. I have 3 AR's to play with, just never really got into making them mine. If you feel the need to let an AR go, I may be in the market for the right price. I've been wanting to go back to the rifle range, and my friends .308 isn't always available. J I cannot recommend DPMS enough, especially if you want a .308 type rifle. I'm Definately a value shopper, and they are the best value I have seen. Looking into em now. Any downfalls in your experience? Honestly I'd like .223/ 5.56 as that is a round I have loved since I was a teenager. The .308 is just what a good friend picked up. J

Another reason why it will be nice to move back near home. The FIL has a "smoke house" that they do all their meat processing in, including a good size grinder and the stuff to make sausage. It's always good but surprises me. We make dried deer/pork sausage and normally it's just make sausage and hang it in the smoke house with a small fire to smoke it and then leave it hanging for a few days in the cold. Seems crazy to me that's all that is needed. To me it is like beef jerky on steroids. That was one of the best thing about growing up in NY, fresh jerky, venison, sausage,metc was always just a phone call away. Especially since I had (and still have) a great hook up on resturant/deli sized grinders, slicers, and scales. Either let them borrow something for a weekend or two, or sell it to them at a cheap price, and get free meat. Not a bad deal. J

Mosquitos are only an issue at night here. All summer its been 90+ during the day and high 70s to mid 80s at night, minus the three weeks of rain. Hopefully we get a few more weeks of sunshine. J

You guys don't know salt, lol. Crystal build up on your paint is not unusual. When you have 3 weeks that it is too cold to wash (car washes here close below 10F usually) and then get to wash you will get old and frumpy waiting for salt to erode with only water. Higher pressure >>> rubbing.NY (especially upstate) will give you a run for your money. It's all either salt or sand, and its salt 95% of the time. Nothing lirke seein a black truck that is white and slush brown on the bottom 3/4 for a good 7 months a year. J

Well I leave tomorrow morning for NY. Looks to be about 20 hrs not counting gas and food stops. Hopefully I can make it in 20 hrs by going a little faster LOL. All depends on the traffic, and weather. Buying new tires on the 1st and getting them installed and alligned when I am home too. Anyone have good sites for buying tires? If bills hadn't taken a food chunk, I would have picked them up before I left, but they aren't worn bad enough to make me stress. J
