  1. Vaccum leak is my idea. J
  2. Jared is the car still numbers matching? If not I would consider a crate. J
  3. And if you don't need the whites do it over a garbage canNew task to learn. J
  4. http://www.thekitchn.com/the-best-way-to-separate-an-egg-is-with-your-hands-tips-from-the-kitchn-197431 Sean is this what you are suggesting? J
  5. Best way ever. J
  6. Dude's fingering is horseshit. He is WAY faster than me, but about at his end for improving unless he steps it up and reconfigures his playing style. Lick isn't that hard btw. Oh but you are sadly WRONG Sean. The amount of articulation he shows in his expressing his imagination, thoughts, and manifestations is beyond incredible. ALMOST Divine. You would be doing yourself a great disservice not to watch this WHOLE video. I can highlight certain times if you don't have the patience. About the only point he actually plays is @2:00:00hrs, but the way he describes applying physics to life, AND playing guitar, is truly profound and inspirational. His ability to articulate himself reviles yours. Enough of my opinion, I would hope I spawned enough desire for you to watch. Incredibly intelligent individual, with some serious abilities. One of the best 25 guitarists in the last 30 years. You should have a blast. Hopefully Zakk's vocals are in tune, and he is into the crowd. When he played in Tampa (at the Ritz in Ybor) his vocals were half assed, and with the small crowd he seemed like he was phoning it in. J
  7. Glad the first semester is winding down. While this isn't shit IMO, I will just glad to be rid of one class in particular. J
  8. Care to show us as well? J
  9. Thanks for looking. My other option is to stay subless...but then I need to put 8's in the doors and build some full rangers up top. Don't have time for that shit right now. I may be completely out of my mind here, but what about 2-4 6" subwoofers under the seats? Since all you want is the sound, they may work out. J
  10. I remember it very vividly. Long ass walk, being passed by senior citizens because I was moving slow as hell. Reciting John Valby and The Jerky Boys with you and Marky the day after finishing my sleeve, and the day before I flew out. Standing on the log floating on the crystal clear glacial melt pond. I still reflect on it as one of my 'zen' places when shit stresses me out too much. J
  11. Good subject matter?New boss? J It was my old boss going away party. And I didn't have the ISO high enough. Grain>nothing in focus. I couldn't get the settings right in for auto I SO and I got greedy. Had to shoot way too much at 1.2. It was so low light... Bounce flashI didn't want to distract people. Would have to use some unique bounce with the ceilings and being under the subject.Everyone was on a stage. Up the nose flash is not so flattering. That is a major bitch. Even worse if they are lit in red lights. J Yup. All reds. I am getting extremely efficient with Lightroom though. It makes WB easy. I still don't create profiles I hit each pic individually, but it's good stuff. I really should learn lightroom. Once I upgrade my laptop /get a desktop for music and photography I will. J
  12. Cost of living here is high, as with where you are at I assume. The best route is cater to people in aspen for a seasonal job. Depending on your skills. A lot of the jobs are outdoor activity related. It's about the same as St Pete minus the heating vs ac difference in cost. I am just enjoying St Pete for now, but I may move in another few years. Not sure what I'm going to do yet. J Prices down here in ft myers and the PC area have grown so much we're on par with the sarasota area (you can get a much nicer house in sarasota as well). Tons of people moving up to your area for that reason. Hence wanting to buy. Insanely cheaper than renting. J

Bounce flashConsidering the time has already passed, I would try to salvage what is left with sharpening, adjusting the brightness, or changing them to b&w. J

  17. Good subject matter? New boss? J
  18. Doing mine tonight. I am only happy because I paid in so little. I also refused unemployment, because up until I decided to go back to school, I was job hunting. I also turned down some jobs due to shit pay for insane amounts of work or travel. J
  19. What would you consider that price point?Keep in mind I am a huge fan of Cutco, and Wustoff (spelling??) in the past. I won't be buying them for a few years unless something odd changes. I still hate that buying is cheaper than renting down here, J Wustof. I dated a girl whose mom was the head of sales at the time, i believe she was promoted since then but she gave me a 17cm knife... LOVE that knife. That is a garlic knife. Nearly useless size...With a little skill you can use a 28-30cm knife for the same tasks. For what i, and her husband (a gourmet chef) use that size knife for, it's more that enough of a knife to cut what we (usually) make. Seems pretty presumptuous to assume we are carving turkeys or slicing a ham with that tool. Thats just the knife we feel most comfortable using for most of our projects. Nice gift man. J
  20. What would you consider that price point? Keep in mind I am a huge fan of Cutco, and Wustoff (spelling??) in the past. I won't be buying them for a few years unless something odd changes. I still hate that buying is cheaper than renting down here, J Cutco is absolute crap. And yes, I have a set so this isn't from opinion but experience. They are my "boat" and camping knives now.Wusthoff has both good and bad knives. Generally speaking they are really heavy and uncomfortable though so I am not a fan. Price point is a hard one. Idiotically most people buy a knife set for $200-300 if you spent $150 of that on a Chef's knife and then bought some other cheaper knives to go with it you'd be way better off. P.S. In my cutting example of usage I was NOT including steak knives at the table, nor shit knives I use to open packages. My knives are in storage atm. The Cutco's were a wedding present from a friend of over 10 years who worked there at the time. The other set (Kitchenaid I believe) was something the ex picked out. I won't be buying knives for another year or so, but was curious as to what I should look for. J
  21. Jared Possible the fuel pump isn't wucking enough fuel on demand? Taking a sexond or two to catch up to the request for more fuel? J

  23. Shit man. How much had the temp gone up? J Actually was not bad, under 100. Have had other failures before and walked into a 125 degree room. Considering the way most grow rooms are setup, thats not bad at all. I certainly would like to see it my next trip out there if possible. J
  24. Great knives, and honestly considering the craftsmanship, I expected a lot more. If you don't have a custom knife made, do you save a good bit buying in person vs online? J
  25. Shit man. How much had the temp gone up? J
