You just blew up one piece of shit, why trade it for another? So on dependability, MPG's, service costs, drivability, and comfort who makes the best 4x4 truck now? Gas or Diesel are both options. J MPG would be a Ford with Eco-Boost, but no way in hell would I own one. Dodge/Cummins for everything else. The eco boost is a no go. One of my guys had three new eco boosts in under 2 years with normal driving, no towing, no offroading, and oil changes per the book. I do a decent amount of 'in town' driving (45 mph but traffic lights) in a week, but would like to have something better for the longer (1-5 hr each way) road trips. Keep in mind these trip usually has me driving. 5 adults and wrestling gear in the bed of the truck as well. I could be open to the idea of another SUV but nothing strikes my fancy. Plus we are looking at picking up a ring which would turn into towing a trailer with a ring and such as well. J

J mpg and truck??? wtf?Yes. Some do get better than others. I just would like to i prove on the 14 mpg I get overall. Lately I. Spend long wnough driving on weekend to make it more of a factor now, and there is no prayer of fitting all of us in a different vehicle with gear. I am the most anti suicide person you will ever meet, but I will suck start a shotgun before I get one of those. I would get an Elio first. J

The manager and sales guy said the super duties are insanely reduced right now.... We shall see. I wouldn't mind one, but for at least the next year or two the Tundra will stay. Just hate the damn gas milage. J

Do the tempurpedics need to be on a special frame or would a wooden slat bed be okay? J

Good stuff to know. I may just have to spring for a good foam mattress in the future. The girl and I tend to be side sleepers. Granted on a bad night my stomach is the most comfortable. J Just buy what is comfortable and err on the side of soft. If you like the tempurpedics, get one. Don't buy into the knock offs unless you also come to terms with the fact it won't last as long. Spring beds are the same. That's the thing, for me so many are comfortable in store, but then at sleep time, I over think it and wonder if I picked correctly. J

That's good to know. I typically just sleep with a fitted sheet. The girl compains she gets cold as she sleeps, yet sweats like a yetti. Especially since she always wants blankets. The room is not colder than the rest of the house either. J

Are they truly worth the cost? I'm at just over 3 years on my current mattress and honestly think a change may be in order since I sleep like shit. J

Hope so. I try to learn something new every time I step in the kitchen. As do I. Last time had me become furious with my cheap knives.I will puchase new ones sooner or later.JNot new ones, but new ONE. Start with the one you use the most. Hell even if you were spending $300 I'd spend 70%+ on one knife. 99% of my cuts are with a 10" Chef's knife. The next most important knife is a bread knife, but a $10 works. Can't cut bread with a chef's knife. After that a paring knife, but I do most paring work with my chef's knife...wouldn't recommend starting out that way though. What is your take on santoku knives? J
