  1. Well damn. All my DNA gave me is shitty facial hair, and a difficult time building muscle mass. J
  2. It's a great way to combat many issues. I am in need of getting back to that myself. I'm getting there day by day. Damn that's a solid day of work man. J
  3. Also, I'm looking for some stuff for a surprise cake day gift for a buddy who does a lot of custom metal work. Any chance any of you have any of the following sitting around the house/garage? - Old gauges - Interesting/unique machine chains - Unusual nuts and/or bolts - Heavy springs - Fly wheels - Cranks - Old round saw blade (the bigger the better) They don't need to be clean or perfect. He does a lot of steampunk style stuff. J
  4. It might be time to have it readjusted. Personally I cannot do the elliptical past a walk without my knee screaming from grinding. I typically choose a bike for cardio. It could be one hell of a book man. My muscles are shrinking and I need to take better care of myself. On the plus side my new job has a solid gym on site. Unfortunately it is currently closed. J
  5. Not overworked here, but putting money towards debts, investing, and putting some up as well. Using the sticker sales $$ to cover some day-to-day expenses too. They've been selling much better this past month, and I'm aiming to build on that going in to the summer. J
  6. Outstanding bro!!! Let me know, and I'll get some samples out to ya before your order!! J
  7. Got the cutter back up and running properly with a new output board. 90 bucks with the overnight shipping and back in business. Also, keep up the projects guys. It's great to see and hear about these!!! J
  8. Sounds like you might benefit from relocating to a warmer climate. J
  9. Damn output board on my cutter lost connection last night in the middle of an order. Contacted the original retailer today, and they sell replacement boards. 50 bucks plus shipping beats 450 for a new cutter of the same line, or 750 for an upgrade. J
  10. He had the high score in college. So I'll take those odds. J
  11. I agree. I am treading lightly. The goal is to keep the orientation virtual as we have been doing that during this pandemic. It's been working smoothly, it simplifies things for many, and cuts costs. Less paper being used, less cost on refreshments, and less travel just to sit and listen to people speak. It's also easier for more people to ask questions as they popup. Not trying to crunch them in at the end (if the presenter has not gone over time). J
  12. Should be interesting. Double fried eggs eh? J
  13. This is very true. I've been talking to my supervisor about what changes to make and what will help them get on board. The person I am taking the hand off from is helpful but very easy going. To the point of basically being a 'yes woman'. It makes getting her true opinion and experiences difficult. J
  14. Damn solid design. Wonder if they could produce CBD eggs somehow. J
  15. For new employee orientation. It was 5 days long before, and a lot of fluff from what I've seen. COVID-19 forced a change to a 1 day virtual event. People are consistently hitting on going back to the in person 5 day event as soon as possible. I am against it as I believe it is more cost efficient and logistically easier to stay virtual. I am in favor of extending it to 2 or 3 days if kept virtual. The discussion about this is a touch aggravating at times. J
  16. I am curious; why are so many against going virtual for orientation? J
  17. Well damn. I figured with that kind of land and trees you were in the country. Well damn. There ya go then. Nothing like fresh venison. J
  18. If you're drawing them in, is bow hunting an option in those woods? You might have a friend who would give ya some venison in exchange for hunting permission? J
  19. I'll probably try them in a restaurant first so I don't kill the flavor. J
  20. It would be a perfect fit on the crap wildlife photography group. J
  21. I would imagine. I've seen some along rows of Maples in NY. J
  22. Never tried them. I honestly need to up my level of mushrooms I've tried. J
  23. You can still do it. The organic crowd go insane for them. I know down here we only have a few shops that have anything besides button and shiitake mushrooms, and the ones that do sell them REALLY quickly. You can also partner with local higher end restaurants to sell there. J
  24. Blackberries and boysenberries flourish in lower light from what I have seen. Damn tasty too. J
  25. Reverb is a great marketplace for selling guitars and used by many dealers. However they do take a decent chunk of the money. You also tend to compete with said guitar shops on there when making the sale. Ebay (IMO) is the easiest and best way to maximize your profits. Solid photos get them sold easily if the price is fair. They don't need to be studio quality, just detailed. Package the hell out of it and insure it. The final option is one I rarely use. Take it in to a local guitar shop. Sam Ashe is my favorite spot if I'm selling a guitar. They'll give you about 4/5 of their selling price on trade or slightly less in cash. That 56 would gain a good bit. If you'd be interested in a single buyer I can put you in touch with Diablo Guitars from out in Washington. Parker Lundgren (rhythm guitarist of Queensryche) is the owner and he makes more than reasonable offers on guitars. J
