so the q scored louder then the btl!? woow! I was thinken bout geittin Bl's over the q, but with the q scoring higher then the btl...

i asked this same question in the products section, everybody said the BL as well. We listen to the same music

im really looken for some exteme lows, from what i've heard the BL will get lower then the q correct? I'm gonna go double check my box mesurments see if i can squeeze another .25 .50 cu ft outta it!

so would that be enough for a 15? or better suited for a 12?

im no expert on tuning freqs, but 48hz seems a little high if ur gonna use the sub for daily?

Any certain options i should choose? Any reccomendations on the size of the woofer with the amount of room i have? Will the 1000+ be plenty to get the BL going? Birthsheer on the amp says 1332

so i recently purchased a Crossfire vr1000d.. *1000w+rms at 1ohm*. My current setup is 2 jl w3's off a pioneer 760w amp. Yes not the greatest but it gets the job done for me currently. These jl's will not hold up with 500+ watts each, thus bringing me to my current mind pretzle. I'd really like to go with a single sub FI setup. But my mind is all tied up between the SSD, the Q, and even the BL. As far as space goes i have roughly 4 cubs to play with. The sub will be in the trunk of a 2006 cadillac CTS. The setup will be a street beater, daily used setup. As for music i listen to 99% rap music with big lows and 1% rock/heavy metal. I'd preffer a 60/40 split sq spl, or maybe a 70/30. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

now the guy i bought these from crimped the tinsel lead to a piece of speaker wire, then ran that into the push terminal where you'd normaly run the speaker wire. This would cause the speaker to not function correct?

k not sure how welll i can describe this, the piece that is messed up is the one that comes from the bottom of the speaker and connects to the bottom of the push terminal *voicecoil* you put your speaker wire in. on one 3 of the 4 of those are not connected, on the other 1 of the 4.. i can take pics if needed

my girlfriend recently*well like 2 months ago lol* scuffed her rim on a curb, now i don't see any bend in the rim or what not but there is visual marks on the rim for sure. Now for the past i'd say 2-3weeks she has been leaking air, the curb job wouldnt cause that would it? The rim would have to be bent for it to cause the tire to leak correcT?

of sound deadening do you think it will take me to do the whole trunk and spare tire well of my 06 cadillac cts?
