  5. Kind of a dick thing to say... I roll in a BMW, but I'm not going to talk down about your chevy truck. At least not in a post you made about how much you liked it. Bad taste...but I guess that's what we see from you time and time again...nothing new there. who are you? I have no clue what you're saying about what you see coming from me time and time again. seriously, its just what I thought about what he did to his ride. What's the point of him posting his ride if he's only gonna get positive statements about it?
  6. Not worth the time in my opinion.
  7. does anyone know of any good port calculator programs for box and vent design? and I should go with a dual 4 ohm since my amp puts out 1200 into 2 ohms, and since I'll be getting only one 18, the 4 ohm coils in parallel will be perfect right?
  8. cool. What kind of upper end bass spectrum response can this get? and how much is shipping to florida? oh and what is the most ideal ported box for it for LSQ? thanks
  9. So, any updates on how the rlp 18 compares to an Fi q18 or bL? thanks
  10. Yeah a Cayenne mos def. that reminds me I saw a Cayenne Turbo S near my school today. Not an S, not a turbo, but a turbo s!
  11. No, Jorge, dude what Denim was sayin is the rear speakers, like on your rear deck or the rear doors, cause wave interference and makes it all sound cluttered and muddy without adding the ability to get on level with the subs, so get a component set,( two midbasses and 2 tweets and two crossovers) and run good power to them up front, in your front doors or where ever you want, and have your subs in the rear, like a 2.1 stereo setup. It'll sound more balance and clean. and less stuff to worry about goin wrong.
  12. Okay, so if you guys had to pick, which one would you get? and why
  13. thanks for no help guys................
  14. What would the Rms rating for the 18 in the optimal box specs be? and is the rating conservative? like could i be putting 1300 into it without worries?
  15. Hey guys I can't wait to swap my 2 12s for a single 18 for some real low extension and think these are the two possible winners. the Sound Splinter Rlp 18 and the Fi Q 18. So, for you guys that have tried both can you give your thoughts? thanks or if you have experience with either of em just give your thoughts bout them. yeah boi
  16. Yeah the sub would be goin in my escalade ext truck that i just got. I am thinking about getting someone to build the enclosure or doin it myself with my friends tools from his garage, and the back seats can fold down and you can pop a hatch that exposes the whole truckbed to the cab itself so there is plenty room in the bed and have the sub and vent hit into the actual cab. Its gonna be great!
  17. hello, I have some questions about getting an 18 inch fi sub for everyday driving. I see that the Q line is built for SQ and has a hefty 27 mm xmax, but whats the real sound difference of a q 18 compared ssd 18s? and whats the freq response in a moderate sized enclosure for a Q 18? and does the 18s sound floppier than the 15s or do they have the same characteristics, but just move more air? Whats the magnet weight of the 18 Q? I know its a lot of questions HAha. oh and also what are the differences between Q and a BL that is customized for daily driving?
