I got a pair of jl audio 8w6's and i need them refoamed. can yall do this for me if the price is right? or send me some high roll 8" foam? they are the oldschool version ones and jl audio doesnt wanna f*ck with them. i also got a pair of 12" ssd's i need to send to scott for repair. i called scott about a week ago but no answer. thanks for any and all help "

that is some funny chit. crank the truck, turn the heater on, and rev the rpm's to about 3000 and see what happens. if you smell something funny mission accomplished

sounds like you are getting all u can get out of it because firing it up leaves a nice distance for the sound waves to revurb off the roof of the vehicle. firing it down i know wont help (been there done that) because it is less room for resonance to occur. scrap the box, get more power, and take your time with the build

amp is mounted to a piece of 1/2" mdf that is behind the carpet. the mdf is secured to the metal braces

i would not trust the box being mounted to that port do to the surface the port is mounted to. if you put light behind that plate on those bmw's you can see the spaces inbetween the welds to hold it in. if you punch it hard enough you can knock it out. i knocked the one outta my dads 740il after i had a 8 mounted there because the 8 rattled it apart. 8's sound good right there. also im not sure about the skii rack thing. as far as replacing back deck with mini subs i did not do that on this one. i did it on a 740il (4 5.25's boston acoustics) turned out o.k. i guess.
