what is your definition of quiet as hell? what are your settings on your amp/crossover and what is the box design like? power feeding the amp? what size wire. etc. give us a rundown of your system and we will be more than happy to help bud!

some people ask why 21" well from what i read i guess they do that cuz its equivalent to 2 15" subs in cone area (sd)

ia supposably released a 21" woofer along with some other new "death penalty"(LOL) series woofers this past weekend. whats wierd about it is the 12,15,18,and 21 ALL have the same size voice coils! lol thats funny. if i made a 21 inch sub i would not let my other little subs have the same power handling as that beast. so basically it seems to me that they are making it just to have the biggest sub around because it certainly wont be the baddest. just a push-over to have more cone area w/o power handling of a larger sub. imo fi will continue with what it has because they are smart enough to realize that size doesnt always matter (even though i have their largest subs lolz). thats my input i was just curious of you guys! thanks lots Damon

i had the same problem with my q 18. scott sent me some solder and i soldered it back on. worked flawlessly ever since! im sure yall will get this settled and goodluck with it all

ok, so u go thru the trouble of making more cone area (21") vs. the 18" but dont make the voicecoil any bigger? whats the logic behind that? to "solely" get more cone area but no more power handling? just curious, thanks. Damon

that was audiobahn. n this sub only has 14 mm linear x-mac. that sux the bigger the are the less x-max it seems

well given that they are dual 1's then you are looking at a 6 ohm load or a .125 ohm load lol. dual 2's you are looking at a 12 ohm load or a .25 ohm load. keep the dual 1's
