i wanna stay away from building a new enclosure due to the fact mine is bolted to the frame. my vehicle is common so i figured someone would know!

im not going to pick on you like some will. outstanding score on a box tuned for DAILY especially at 30 hz!!

nevermind the bl something inbetween jim! thats what we are getting at. i know what you are trying to say. im just saying for those who cant afford a "beefy" sub but want something pretty close. it was just an idea that i had no idea would turn into this many people being interested!

i have NEVER had trouble with allthread bracing and sealing the enclosure off. i personally think it is one of the best methods of bracing beyond double,triple, quad. etc. baffling. all thread, nuts, washers, lock washers on each side of the wood and a lil lock tite (not all ways needed if done correctly) will make for a pretty stout and sealed enclosure!

bp power is also available on the q's now. i personally went with the q's they get crazy loud and sound great doing it!!!!

sorry for double but my gues is you are sending them around 90-100 volts. those amps send ALOT of amps through the speaker wires. that resulted in the death of my (2) re se 15's r.i.p.

meter your speaker wires. lets see how many amps of current you are feeding them puppies

i dont mind at all! its a 4 door. i have 2 18's ported right now in 10 cubes tuned to 30 hz. it slams!!! powered by a rockford t20001bd. and pimped out i am leaving the seats in permanently. i have changed my mind. im waiting on my other 2 18's b4 the build but i am not doing a pacman. im just doing 2 rectangular boxes together to look like a wall.that way i can put one box in and slide it all the way forward and get the other box in and stack them then carpet and panel off and no one will be able to tell! i didnt notice if the roof slopes down on the sides like it does in the back but if it does ill just have to compensate. thanks!

i did a 145.8 tl at 32 hz with one q 18! i got 2 trophies for it at a nopi tuner event in montgomery alabama. i got first in my class and won first in port wars with a guy that had (8) rockford t(2) 12's and (8) rockford t10001bd's. (its all about the box guys!)
