sure wish SI would make a kick ass 6.5" midbass driver.... went to work on putting my XXX6.5" mids in today and am not able to fit them in the door without major modifications done to the panel, which I don't want to do. I knew they were deep but measured before I ordered them and thought I could fit them with a 3/4" baffle but that is not the case. So now it is back to the design board for midbass drivers for this guy. any suggestions welcome.

they only do dual 2 ohm versions. But the Mags perform/sound excellant off any amount of power from 600 and up. I use to be running just 600 on my 15 and it was great.

looks like when the new SI sub comes out I will be adding to my stock pile of subs. in car: 1 SI Mag 15 in my room: 2 JL 12w3s in prowedge box 3 JLw3s in a custom box. and a chitload of PPI amps.

that I am already wanting to try out either a new Mag, or a Rl-p, or w6. I have only had my mag for, well actually almost a year now, damn that went by fast. but I think its just from reading all the damn forums of people getting new subs it makes me want a new sub or two. well, I am definatly waiting to see the new SI sub. I love my Mag so much I am sure it will not dissapoint. I also think I am going to go back to the 3 12s configuration. I like the 15 but something about the 3 12s I miss.

I am sure once SI releases their new subs they will fit what you are looking for.

So I have been looking for a midbass driver for a long time now to add to my Diamond Hex comps. I would still like to get my hands on some SI 8" drivers (hopefully they haven't been abandoned). But for now I am getting in on the RE group buy and gonna try the XXX6.5". But it leads me to have to find good xover for them. ANyone got a suggestion? Anyone at SI wanna build one for me by chance???

I had my Mag 15 running off of 600 watts for a couple months and it performed extremely well. You will be pleased, especially ported. Mine was sealed.
