Padding in shirts?

I have a few national meets under my belt. I'd love to get back into training, I've got people in my area with tons of records in both raw and equipped leagues. I have a couple myself but I just can't justify the time it takes to get back to the top 10 in the world where I was at before.

Suits and shirts will help you gain a bit. But everyone else will be using them so the gain is mute. The typical noob will not just throw on a shirt and lift. A shirt it designed to keep your elbow in and keep your shoulders tight. And they have absolutely zero help when locking out they actually impede lock out. When wearing shirts your mechanics are completely different from a "standard" bench. It forces you to use your pecs and triceps rather than your delts.

I like to wear DR Martins laced boots. I prefer the ankle support over a slip on as I typically climb through/on grain and on barges. But I go to a foot doctor (forget the medical term) and had custom insoles made for about 250 bucks. The did a 3d scan of my feet and made them with a 3d printer. They have outlasted two pairs of boots. night and day difference from anything else I've ever worn.

I have a Toyota Matrix and was looking for a bolt on HO. I have called everyone in the business and they all told me they could help me out and everything would be perfect no problems what so ever, do rated power, even after I told them the car idles under 800 rpm. Then I called Mechman, the guy I spoke with was very up front and told me I was gonna have issues. (no shit, I knew this before I called all the other yahoos but I wasn't gonna tell all of them that this wasn't my first rodeo. I like to act ignorant to see if I can sniff out any bullshit from any company I deal with.) He did however spend the time to give me deminsions on an alternator that I could fab my own bracket for, and he was even up front about the fact I would have a check engine light on. So the moral of the story is after talking with all the other dipshits I wouldn't hesitate buying an alternator form Mechman, which I will be doing in a few weeks.

I like RADA knives. Very Cheap and their filet knives are very flexible. Make sure you get one of their quick edge sharpeners. I just threw a few of those away. You can't cut butter with them.Maybe you just need to find a redneck around your parts to teach you how to sharpen a knife.
