  1. Here's two videos of a DP 21 in 10 cubes tuned to 32 hertz powered by a Hifonics 2000 watt amp. As soon as I can find my software cd for my termlab I will meter it. video of woofer flex Video of 2007 CrewMax Tundra flexing
  2. I have had problems with them throwing easier when they get hot when mounted under the hood
  3. I have been swamped with a Mustang that has to be done this weekend, a chrysler was dropped off today getting a basic pop trunk install, and I have a 2007 M5 being dropped off tomorrow that's getting a custom install with some flatlines, audison, and focal equipment. But Tuesday is Mardi Gras so I will take a day off go to a parade and probally meter the 21 Tuesday evening.
  4. If you are trying to stay in the price range of the L7 I would do a Incriminator death row ot flatline series 12. Highs I would do the Kicker KS seires coaxils. They normally run around $90 to 125 a pair depending on size. If you are running a amp on your highs I would do the KS series components. To control your bass use the bass knob that comes wih the Hifonics amp or go with a bass knob that goes inline with the rca's. PAC's bass knob model number is LC1.
  5. here is some pictures of my very first custom install in my 1999 Mustang. I was 18 at the time.
  6. It was my demo vehicle in 2006. I started the install september 1st and pulled it in the car hauler on september 11th for NOPI.
  7. I would compare them to a JL W3 12, but I don't know of any big brand manufaturer in the 187's price range.
  8. Actually I've been a Authorized dealer in Lafayette, LA since August '08 =D Need to talk to Nick get him to put you on their website.
  9. custom built. The box is a little dirty because the truck was filthy. There are nuts in the picture but 2 inch 1/4 walled square tubing 1.75 inches long was used to raise the seat along with longer grade 8 bolts.
  10. Here's a few pictures of two 187 12's under the back seat of a 2006 Fored F-150 powered by a Rockford 500.1BD. It was one of the loudest installs I have heard under the back seat of a pick up.
  11. It had 4 pairs of components inside, 16 tens in the bed, 4 bass amps, 10 highs amps, and 48 (yea forty-eight) 6.5 inch marine grade coaxials under it. I started it on september 1st and loaded it in the car hauler on the 11th to go to NOPI.
  12. The monte carlo is a customersbut I might have this out there if I make it this year
  13. I just sold my blazer and going to pick up a '88 chevy 4 door dually. As soon as it is bagged I am going to need eight of them to go under the camper top.
  14. Gotcha covered it's in my work order contract. I manufacture abs enclosures that mount marine grade speakers under vehicles. Because they are designed to project music outside a vehicle, my lawyer insisted I incoprerated something to make sure my shop and product manufactures are not responsible for other people's ignorance. My last demo vehicle had 48 6.5 inch marines under it. At Nopi Nationals in 2004 people were coming up to my booth saying they could hear my truck from the parking lot outside the track. Pic of the high's amps in the truck Pic of the undercarriage on the driver side. It is hard to tell but that is a reflection of marine speakers in the mirror
  15. Looks real good. How long does it normally take you to build an enclosure this size? Is there a reason the sides are reseced so much?
  16. If the wall is ribbed why not make the back of the enclosure fiberglass using 6 or 8 layers of 1.5 ounce chopped strand mat. Should only be 3/16 to 1/4 inch thick. Deaden the back wall of the truck. Then rivit the enclosure to the back wall. This would make it strong enough, and would not rattle, and allow it to be removed if needed.
  17. I have one in a 3 foot box with 50 inches of port tuned to 40 hertz and she sounded fine, but 35 hertz is more to my liking. I thought the Aq sub was more on the lines of a DR and not a DP?
  18. here's a link to a video you can sorta see the shop and me as well at the end. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...ideoid=27297044 Also while you are there add me as a friend I always have a build posted My shop might not be as fancy as some, but the only thing I do is custom work like the 42 inch motorized plasma in my advatar.
  19. It's just a small 1500 foot shop but you can see some installs at my myspace: www.myspace.com/audibelcustoms
  20. I wouldn't say the solox is garbage, the spec between them are close and I have installed many solox 18's but it is a good comparison between a $800 1500 watt woofer and a big name sub that will claims to handle 10000 watts on a burp, that costs twice as much
  21. I know you don't want advice from some one small, As I am only 5'3 148 pounds. But I have been powerlifting since 2001 and am currently ranked 5th in the country and 10th in the world in my weight class. I am around and deal with a lot of people trying to loose and gain weight all the time. As you already know it is hard to stay on a diet because it gets boring after a while. Hell, I weigh as much as one of your legs and I have to manage to eat 4000 calories a day to mantain my body mass. I am like you I am just dealing with a different demon. Don't try to stop eating what you like because you will fail no matter how hard you try. Food is an addiction just like those cigarrettes you smoke. And just like smoking you can't stop cold turkey you have to take small steps to reduce the amount of food you take in first, then you can work on altering your diet to more healthier foods. An average adult eating three times a day should only eat 1 1/2 to two handfulls of food per serving. Over time gradually reduce the amount of food at each meal and you will see a difference. You would be surprised how much calories you would save if you left a few bites of food left on your plate. Also drink a 8 once glass of water before you begin your meals and it will make you fill fuller.
