  1. The production model will use a 10 x 3 spider to reach full Xmax.
  2. No 70% is ~45mm
  3. That's just a CB (citizen band). I'm talking about Amateur bands. Cb's are only good up to 4-5 miles, 6-7 if youre lucky. I've been able to talk up to 120 miles with my 2 meter ham radio, and lots of people talk around the world on 10 meter. Yea, umm, I have a CB base station on a 10k linear and a 150 foot antenna and I can reach Alaska. Have one in my dually on a 700 watt linear with a master blaster and it reaches over 75 miles. Don't know where you get 6 to 7 miles from.
  4. Wait till you see the production model this fall. It contains a few components and tech never used in a transducer.
  5. I's a don't make no junk.
  6. I wouldn't go over 4.5 cubes ideally 3.5-4
  7. This is the only one and the only one ever built. This driver cost me $390 to build. It's a steal at $400. If the buyer needed recones it wouldn't be a problem.
  8. Bring up 8 Ethos for Chuck, we spoke about a bit about the switch while down in SBN. I'd have to strap'em to the good and roof.
  9. I'm contiplating throwing 2 12's in my DD civic and driving up.
  10. And for future reference a sub that can be bottomed out by pushing it by hand, on a large output sub, would be covered under warranty. Unless there is evidence the sub was unloaded and the joint came apart. But it would take a ton of bottoming out to break the glue joint. A suspension should not loosen drastically after it is broken in.
  11. Motors are assembled with uncharged slugs.
  12. Seems like it would be a HUGE undertaking to do the reviews yourself. Why not structure it like social media allowing members to add and comment on a particular subject/band. You can then reap the rewards of exploiting members info like Facebook.
  13. http://www.electropedia.org/iev/iev.nsf/index?openform∂=801
  14. I figure who better to blow it up than Senchez
  15. Rule of thumb is use as much wood and as little fiberglass as possible.
  16. And yes that is a mobile post of a mobile post showing how to post a picture on a mobile phone.
  17. You do t have to use any insert links. Just paste the "IMG" link from photobucket to the reply box.
  18. Upload to photobucket in their desktop version. Then copy and paste to SSA like normal. Works fine on my iPhone
  19. You seriously need to stop listening to who ever you are learning from. Most kayaks are thicker than 1/8 inch and even those use some sort of foam or wood in their laminant.
  20. I do t know about that.
  21. notice there is double stick tape under the duct tape. I do the same exact thing. It's there to compensate for material thickness when building trim panels
  22. Ohh what's the price looking to be?Not sure. Somewhere between 500 and 1000
