  1. ~24 hertz should have and F3 of ~20 hertz. Kinda iffy due to all the port angles but it'll be close enough.
  2. Please explain. You said "small install". I would like to know what the hell a "big install" is to you Q? This I would consider a big install. When it was finished it had about 2,000 hrs in it.
  3. drawing? you mean the first pic? That is just a black and white photo of the ole lady. The sculpture below was made from plaster casts from her.
  4. per Vance Dickason adding stuffing can: 15% - 25% i volume increase efficiency as much as 15% potentially change moving mass of the system decreasing system efficiency damping losses reduce coloration due to reflections in an enclosure He spends 6 pages on the subject. You basically use formulas to calculate Q, then add or remove stuffing and recalculate.
  5. oh hell no
  6. Stuffing is used to adjust Q. Stuffing just to stuff is not correct procedure.
  7. Here's a better one. The kids around here are selling 1 $ cast bars. But they don't have them on hand. You must order them and then the school wants the kids to track you down for your one dollar piece if candy when they come in.
  8. Viper has lifetime warranty on their brains. Call them about the situation and they will pay for it to be fixed.
  9. I got enough problems finishing my own vehicles let alone some one else's
  10. Wasn't aware that you had to be old to drive a Benz Can't tell you how many BM'er and Porsche sales people have told me that I am too young for my car. Of course I think, oh, nice pucking sales process moron....although in general I agree on a personal level. That being said, I am not old enough to have kids yet, or a professional job. etc. Not old enough to have kids? Aren't you in your 30s?Or do you mean that's the salesman saucing you up? 30's? He's old enough to be most members grandpa.
  11. UPDATE 9/25/13 As of today all of my initial orders have yet to be built. We are going on a lead time 2.5 times longer than I was quoted. I am being told they are to ship any day now. If you are expecting orders they should ship with in the next few business days. As of right now I am suspending ALL new orders until I have my parts in hand at my shop so I can keep lead time down to a couple days.
  12. I get my maui's from the same place the ole lady gets her prescription ones. They shape them for me in their machine when they come in.
  13. Dayton Ultimax. Will easily get into the mid teens. Regarded by some as the best driver in its category. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=295-514
  14. It's gonna be hard to fit an 18 in ~7 feet and still get a low enough response.
  15. rained today so plaster diddnt cure well. Rushed it and pulled the buck off. A few cracks but nothing that isnt fixable.
  16. haven't seen anderson connectors used in a LLLLLLOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time.
  17. The mold is made from plaster of paris. Ive done a TON of mold work in my day. I was in gifted visual arts for all 13 years of school. Off topic but a couple things I have done about 15 years ago. The ole lady and one of several pieces I have done. She's pregnant again and if she makes it through this one I have plans for on when she's 9 months that estimate will take me about 2,000 hrs to complete. The one below took about 700 hrs.
