Gotcha. I use a Cajun microwave for slow roasting and a smoker for smoking.

Have never seen an egg in use. Besides the obvious even heat retaining properties of ceramic, what's the big deal?

A horn is way more complex than an enclosure. I wouldn't buy a prefab box and most certainly wouldn't try to piece together a HLCD

Fuck no. My "toys" actually do go fast. Just need something for daily driving. Have been happy so far with the ole lady's DD a 2010. Sticker was 21k and some change. Walked in at 730 looked at the car. Sat down with the salesman and he asked how my credit is (I look like I'm about 20). Laid 20k on the table. Told them if they want to sell it ill take it right now tax title liscense if not ill go somewhere else. At 900 I walked out with the keys.

low subs vs spl subs
High motor force to cone weight ratio gives a funky response with increased output at tuning. No where near accurate music representation. Everything must be in sync.

Help give an idea of the product we push. This barge is near empty. Only about 10 truck loads left in it. Typical Panamax vessels holds about 40 of these. We normally deal with about 30 Panamax's a week on the lower MS

I've helped on a cobra which wasn't bad at all but the GTM needed a TON of bodywork. Too much of a pain in the ass MHO. But if you like that sorta thing nothing exceptionally hard to build. I think he has about 2,000 man hours in the build. The Cobra was around 500

Hell I do most of my listening on 4" full rangers. Even worse for that, but god damn they sound great. Helps that they are ported and perfectly on axis sitting on my desk, but nonetheless I have no desire to upgrade. We had an 18 wheeler for Mardi Gras that used Fishman arrays that housed 5.25's and a compression tweeter. I think there was 8 under the trailer. It was so ducking loud the bass would vibrate your cloths from 50 feet away.
