  1. Did the same with the viper. Both skip shift and rear o2 shut off.
  2. No way to bypass the skip shift via the computer?
  3. Got an 06 duramax that does nothing but haul a 35 foot goose neck loaded with a 17k pound tractor with impliments. Has about 200k miles on it. Have do e nothing but change fluids and the fuel filter once at 100k. Never had a lick of trouble out of it. And averages 16 miles to gallon loaded down.
  4. Going back to the good ole country songs this one about sums it up.
  5. I can't stand to listen to any new shit that's in the radio. If I wanted to listen to pop. I'd listen to Miley Cyrus.
  6. This cowboy's hat has a pretty good story line
  7. If I were on a boat for 23hrs it would be unrelated to labor. It pays obscenely well. So the only thing there is to do is bitch about it.
  8. Only mid day Thursday and already got 53 hours for the week.
  9. Same boat. No relief. Too many jobs working. Did get the pilots cabin which has a private shower so I did get a few cat naps and a shower.
  10. Been sitting on a boat for 23 hours. What ever happened to labor laws?
  11. They'll send u another after they process ur card.
  12. no, this will be coming with the next order ~6 months. It's a bit complicated due to the radial charging needed plus the end magnets being charged in opposite directions. Therefore all magnets have to be charged before assembly. I do know that it will not be an inexpensive driver. It will be in the $600-$700 range (around the same retail as the JL shallow), but with 2.5 times more excursion. Also, cones will need to be tooled before final production. 300 degree coil next to seat carpet ain't gonna turn out good
  13. 2/0 on sale $1.94 per foot http://www.electronbeam.com/#weldingcable
  14. Just look for any obvious physical defects. Torn surround, loose terminals. If it has seen in leads check for burn marks on the spiders.
  15. 200. And it should be read as ohm or omega symbol on the knob. Post a pic of the meter.
  16. Yea, the Chinese (from what I'm told) do not have a magnetizer strong enough to saturate large motors so there are sent here dead. I personally will not do the assembly as I don't have the man power. My US supplier will assemble a few pallets at a time and send them to me. When I receive them ill verify rub and buzz and parameters with DATS before they ship to customers. That is until next year when budget allows me to per chase a Klippel QC analyzer.
  17. Turn the meter to read ohms and touch the positive lead to the positive terminal and the negative lead to the negative terminal. The coil should read whatever the Re is listed as. If its a one ohm sub it may be .6-.8. If its a two ohm sub it may be 1.6-1.8, ect. With the leads on the sub push the cone. The numbers should fluctuate but rest back at the original number. Be warned that cheap meters and cheap leafs may not rest at 0. Touch the leads together to verify resting numbers before testing speaker.
  18. As soon as I get the drivers in my hands ill start the sale. ETA 20th-25th. This is so I can manually test and look over the motors to make sure all is a-ok. The sale will last for 14 days. I will post sale pricing this coming week once I am 100 percent certain of the MAP pricing on the product. The sale price will be $50 cheaper than MAP. Both sale price and MAP price will be SHIPPED.
  19. Subwoofer frequencies are non directional.
  20. ................................
  21. I appreciate your criticism, however, you should do your research before typing. Those drivers are linear way past 30mm. FYI. As I said per results he posted. And per them (the results above) they are not. As I have already said he may have revisions, but if so there have been none posted.
  22. If the softparts hit xmax at 30mm then that would equal xmech. The softparts go up to 50mm one-way on the Z.4 IIRC. Linear xmax on the prototype is around 30mm. No Xmech is the physical limit. Per these graphs they are the end of the curve or ~39 each way. In other words the drivers "locked up" at these points. The xmax is the black areas of the curves. You are looking at three componets: BL which is 70% = xmax Inductance which is 10% and mechanical compliance of the suspension/suround which is 50%. when any of these points are hit the driver has hit xmax or 20 percent distortion which is the point where audible distortion is found. The numeric values of each are located at the very top right hand corner. Overall its a very balanced driver. Both motor and soft parts hit their limits at the exact point 30.5mm one way xmax. But as quoted this may not be a final product. Maybe Jacob is re engineering the softparts to reach over 35mm one way. If I have to guess I'd say the reason for the limit on the softparts is from the spider. Is has a very low creep factor which is showed by the gentle curve on the CMS chart. If it was the surround hitting limits the curve would get exponentially curved towards the ends.
  23. I do believe you misunderstood Jacob. And per the Klippel results that Jacob posted his new softparts hit xmax at 30mm one way.
