  1. Your ex as in Daniele?
  2. I've also got a N3 motor that I'd let go for cheap.
  3. Like this? That's one sexy rifle!http://www.impactguns.com/dpms-ar-15-243-20-inch-heavy-barrel-19rd-mags-lr-243-884451000280.aspx Well yea, you will find that all manufacturers will put their own flare on the AR frame. Kinda like ford or Chevy. It's whatever tickles your fancy. But if course some are built better than others just like anything else.
  4. If you don't already have it I HIGHLY recommend doing a hunter safety course.
  5. Now if I wanted the cool factor this in subsonic suppressed would be one of my top choices. http://mcmillanusa.com/mcmillan-rifles-alias-cs5.php
  6. If that's all then I would personally get one in 243 as it is still a popular enough round that it is cheap and easily avaliable since a lot people use it for white tail and I doubt the 223 has the knock down power the 243 has out to 100-150 yards (could be wrong) and since most people are getting 223 I'd assume the rounds are harder and more expensive to buy, I'd check the market first.
  7. It sounds like you just want a military gun that looks cool and that's fine I understand that but if you are really looking to shoot a lot and are going to be shooting only varmit I'd do a 22 AR as bullets will be 10 times cheaper.
  8. I do t think you fully understand what an AR is. It is not a caliber. It is a type of chassis. Just like an SUV is a type of vehicle. Yes, there is a 22 AR. Colt makes one as well as others. It makes no sense using a big game round on a raccoon or possum. It's akind to using a 50 cal on a white tail.
  9. no that tastes like shit too. If used at all, people will use Tony Chachere's or Zataran's for quick seasoning similar to adding salt and pepper. However any real cooking especially from scratch raw ingredients would be used. Now when it comes to boiling seafood we normally use Zataran's crab boil as it's just easier and the taste really can't be beat. You can bet that anything being boiled weather it be corn, crawfish, crabs, or potatoes it's gonna be boiled in Zataran's crab boil. We go to the florida keys every August for Lobster season and about the best thing on earth is lobster boiled in crab boil.
  10. you'd be good with a 22 magnum or a .17 cal I use Hornady v-max http://www.hornady.com/store/searchammo.php?mode=search&main_cat=250&categoryid%5B%5D=259&categoryid%5B%5D=&categoryid%5B%5D=375&x=30&y=8
  11. Oh helllllllll no!!!! Old bay is for people not from Louisiana that don't know what flavor is. The only thing in that pot is water, crabs, and shrimp heads and tails. No seasoning, that goes into the roux with the .veggies
  12. No, 1/0 copper and 1/0 aluminum. Wire is sized based on voltage loss over a given length not the physical OD. properly sized 1/0 aluminum will always be bigger than 1/0 copper since of course copper is more conductive. However it is still 1/0. Therefore if you can find properly sized 1/0 aluminum wire it will be no different than properly sized 1/0 copper.
  13. Making some gumbo stock.
  14. no they will direct sales only. I'm trying my damnedest to keep the 12" at $290 plus shipping
  15. about 65 poundsJesus, that's more than my zcon and evil It takes a good bit of motor force to move 350 gram 12 inch piston assembly 33mm one way in a 1.25 (yes 1.25 cubic foot) down to 27 hertz with a flat response curve.
  16. We just have to be 1,000 feet from a house or public structure.
  17. That's the deal with the 2nd amendment. It states that you have the right to bear arms against state and country. But doesn't go into detail about what is deemed legal or not.
  18. No, there is no difference in properly sized wire.
  19. You don't need amps or speakers and might hurt yourself and others. Probably don't know how to properly calibrate them to the highest level of standards either so you shouldn't get them.Come on man, don't be so rude to people. You wouldn't want to be talked to like that would you? I am just saying what is he going to use it for and does it need to be a ar-15. Smaller calibers can do the same job.The at cones in many calibers. Even 22. AR is just the style "frame"
  20. Nvm. I swore I saw that caliber listed. The only tactical grade weapons I own are made by McMillan. Im sure way above ur price point. And I don't have any Ar's as I don't have the need for a compact framed rifle. The Ar is designed for close quartered combat situations. So unless you want it bc it looks cool then it wouldn't be my cup of tea.
  21. First question would be why a .223 over other rounds avaliable.
  22. The 50 is a pain in the ass to reload a clip. Normally we just slide a round in at the bolt. You don't want no more than about 5 rounds anyway. I'm not a target shooter and don't really hunt as much as I used to. I do collect a lot though. I've got two purdey's and a few other antique American darengers and such In all I've got around 160 rifles and pistols. 95% of them I haven't spent a round through.
  23. Also use a lever action browning 30-06 now and then but I prefer the 243. 270 short mag is a good gun for 200-300 u'd range. I've found that anything under 200 and the bullet is too quick. Deer like to run. If I ever get a big gun itch I go to my dads. He's got a McMillan 50 cal.
  24. My last elk (few years ago) was about 480 yards. For whitetail under 200 yards I use youth model browning 243 medallion.
  25. The 300 magnum is my favorite larger rifle round. I use a McMillan Dynasty for long range mule deer and elk.
