  1. If you are just adding a sub you won't need any processing. The most cost efficient method would be to use a PAC SNI-15. Before you do anything I would verify factory filtering. All you need to do this is a few test tones and a DMM. If he is not looking to add a ton of output a single 10 or 12 fiberglassed into the fender area would save the most space. Or he could just opt for a nice sealed enclosure that could be removed if he needed the whole trunk.
  2. baking some crab and cornmeal stuffed boneless chicken breasts.
  3. Like any parameters. "Recommended or optimal" air space is worthless without explaining why or for what reason or application it is optimal for.
  4. You shouldn't have pissed off true concepts
  5. You can't taste it. It's used as a thickening agent. It's puréed
  6. Pulled pork, chicken, rice, liver, onions, garlic, bell pepper and spices stuffed in sausage casings and boiled.
  7. Boilin boudin
  8. Mmmmmmmm...............resin fumes.
  9. As you said, I wouldn't waste my time on it but... Resin will adhear to the carpet but wouldn't accept mat correctly. So...the easiest way would be to remove the carpet undernieth. Now, resin will not bind to plastic. So what you would want to do is use the panel as a mold. Wrap the entire bottom with blue painters tape then apply mat/cloth and resin to build up a laminant. Once this is complete use corvette body panel adhesive to permanently adhere the laminant to the panel.
  10. I don't know what an 8th gen civic is. Need to know how much output is desired. Need to know budget. Doesn't matter whatsoever if their is a limit on the factory sub. The aftermarket amp will have a gain and you will adjust accordingly. Need to know the set skill of the installer. This is going to be the biggest deciding factor.
  11. I'd fix what's broke first.
  12. Best jig. http://www.rockler.com/m/product.cfm?page=30473&mt=more_info You can get a circle/oval jig for about $90. Rockler is the only place I buy my woodworking tools.
  13. Just live where ur neighbor can't catch ur wifi signal. Problem solved.
  14. It uses palm oil which naturally has a lard like consistency at room temperature vs hydrogenated soybean oil.
  15. Me dumbass!!!Well at least I know who to look out for when I go to BR.
  16. About 30 days. The motors and baskets should be on their way any day now. It'll take a few days to rush a motor to verify T/S again. I did a few modifications for cooling plus the addition of the lighter coil will change things a bit. I can manually measure everything but I want to get one to Pat to verify. I am wanting the production 12" to be optimized for a QB3 alignment of 1.5 cft tuned to 32 hertz with an F3 ~27. The parameters for this enclosure will also give a ~3db ripple with 2cft and a F3 of ~29hz with Fb 32
  17. Finally get to go home tomorrow. If anyone is traveling thru La/ Tx line and have time to stop at Sulphur, DONT its a shit hole
  18. Sounds like you got ur shit together. Other Md's/ Phd's in your family ?
  19. Lulz.On a side note you should get some board space there and pimp out the new drivers when they're out. I'm gonna whore'em everywhere. You make the moofers? No I get Chinese children to make them. I just assemble them. I let them do all the hard work.
  20. I don't remember that formula. WHat's it for? I prefer to let Mathcad do the work being that it is frequency dependant but here you go. Im going off a file off my phone but I think this is all of it. Pmax= (k1/Gno)(Fn4 - C x Fn2 + A)^2 + Fn2 x (D x Fn2 - B) / Fn4 - E x Fn2 + A^2 K1= (4 x pi^3 x Ro / c) * Fs^4 x Vd^2 Ro= density of air (1.18 kg/m^3) C= 1 + A + (vas/vb) + Fb / 7 x Fs x qts) Gno= 10^((spl-112)/10) spl= reference efficiency Fn4= Fn2^2 Fn2= (F/Fs)^2 F= frequency C= 1 + A + (Vas/Vb) + Fb / (7 x Fs x Qts) A= (Fb/Fs)^2 D= 1/Qts + Fb / (7 x Fs) B= A/Qts + Fb / (7 x Fs) E= (97 / 49) X A
  21. I'm not concerned with what the box guy thinks what the sub needs. You tell us the maximum volume you have to work with and ill tell you what will work.
  22. Or save 90% of your money and go to wallmart and buy a roll of mattress foam. All you are trying to do is keep the rear deck from slapping the metal of the car.
  23. Vd, Tuning, and Power. *The lower the tuning, more port area is needed. Power can be completely removed (its literally not in the equation). If you do then you might as well include box volume which affects Q and affects power needed to accelerate the piston to xmax.
  24. Not a coon ass. I'm not that far south. Ill settle with redneck. I'm a bulk commodity inspector. I fix people's fuck ups on a daily basis.
