lets say i dont go with a comp set. and i'm going to do something different for a xover later. What can i do for some 6x9s? I really am interested in trying the mach 5 6.5's as my subs are also mach 5. Also my stock tweet size is 1.5. I want to put nothing bigger than an inch tweet in. Is there anyway i can still mount it in the stock tweet place. I'd really rather not cut a hole in my door panel. thanks

I recently got a 2006 Pontiac G6 and I want to carry over most of my curent system. i.e. HU, Maw-15's. But the G6 comes with 6.5's in the doors and 6x9's on the back deck. Which opens up all kinds of possibilities since my last car only had 6x8s all the way around. My question is. What speakers will be good to have? I seen the Mach 5 6.5s but I really would like to keep the speakers the same brand. So What Speakers are a good choice. My Budget is Probably about $200. okay, I got my Mach 5 15's and i love them. But until i get the money to get the Sundown amp, I need to figure out which amp I need to use in the mean time. So I have two amps, obviously. I just need to know which amp would be better off for me. I am looking for accurate punchy bass more than I am loudness. So please help me out and let me know which is better. Thanks Guys ~MadroX

does knukoncepts have a distro block from 1/0 ga to 4ga?

If a 4ga kit will be sufficient then I will just get that. I dont want to run extra wire if there is no need to. But yeah, what about the two diff kits.... the KLM and the Fleks kit? whats the diff and which is better?

Hmmm I will just stick to the 4ga then. I dont want to fudge anything up. They have 2 different 4ga amp kits. The Kolossus Fleks and the KLM kit. Which is better?

I will get the 1/0 kit because If I upgrade it will be in the summer and Im going to avoid working in the heat if I have to. the $60 or the $90 one?

Okay, Im not much of a box-builder. Nor do I know any of the concepts to box-building. I was wondering for my MAW-15's, Which I'm putting in a 4.0 ^3cu. ft. box sealed, When I get the box built does it need to be two independent chambers with 2 cu ft on each side or 1 big 4 cu ft. box. I wasn't sure what if that had an effect on the subs and/or their performance. Thanks in advance. ~MadroX

I just Ordered a pair Of Mach5 MAW-15's I hope they are as awesome as I have heard ppl say they are. All I need now is to save up and get the SAE-1000D. I'll be sure to post Build Logs as I get everything together. Cant Wait

crunch 1000d? $100 new. any good or save up.?

Im thinking on a budget... MY friend offered to sell me a Cunch 1000D amp for $100 slightly used. is that a good deal or would saving up and getting the sundown be a better bet.

I need to choose an amp for a pair of Maw-15's I was thinking the Sundown-1000D. Seems like it would work good being when I wire both subs into it. The Rms wattage would split and it would be powering the MAw-15's to their full RMS which I know isnt everything but ya know. Any Input. Thanks in Advance for all the help.

Will the MAW-12's perform better than the Memphis PR 12's?

Im sure this isnt the right section. But its been a few months since I have posted here due to my new job and everything. Anyway. I am buying two Mach 5 Maw-15's And I was wondering is it possible to fit a 4.0 cu ft box in my trunk. I am driving a 1996 Ford Taurus GL. I would get the 12's But the 350 power rating kinda makes me speculate. I currently have 2 Memphis 12 PR's and I hate them. But the rating on them is 250rms, So Im not sure if the maw-12's would be much better in terms of output. But hey what do I know. Also I dont have the recommended sealed enclosure size for the 12's. ARG please help. I want Mach 5's I am driving a '96 Taurus GL. whats my best bet?

I had taken subs and stuff out like 2 or 3 days before because my HU was broke so I just listened to a portable cd player. Drove down the road with my headphones on. Notice on the 6th pic down the audiobahn sticker. I never even used audiobahn. I stole it from my cousin. And audiobahnholics down here claim that the sticker is what held my windshield together........ dumbasses.

It happened Last October. I am o.k. I just broke my arm and got a hip contusion. I thought i had that little bastard too. My friend was with me and he has long hair. So in the process of rolling over his hair was flying all in my face and I was saying to myself "Aww chit his head has done came off and is flopping around in my car!" It was a trip alright. We had to climb out of the trunk because I couldnt open the doors or roll the windows down. My friend is a bigger guy so when he started to climb out the car started to teeter-totter and it was pretty scary. It was right down the road from his house because I had just picked him up. We walked back to his house and played Guitar Hero. Well he did I just watched. Until my mom got there to take me to the hospital.
