I did some research and and it says the taurus has 15.5 cu ft of trunk space. I dont beleive it. I just cant see it. But here is a Picture to give you a better Idea of what I am working with.

Do you have anybody in mind?

Location = Selmer, Tennessee (Can travel as far as Jackson, Tn) Driver = A Single Fi Bl 15" Sound Desire = Daily Pounding no competition but still with Ample Sound Quality Space Available = 3-4 Cu ft. 96 Taurus not sure on for sure numbers.

I'm really uncomfortable with this question as I dont want to feel needy. But I think a while back I seen someone say that had another member build them a box. Not sure though. But if that person did build a box I was wanting to know how much they would charge for box I need and what would be the Pickup/Shipping terms. Thanks that explains alot. Do you think I would be ok with just the P Chamfer since Im not trying to Blow buildings down with this thing? I dont plan on putting more than 1200w to this thing. I was looking at the SAE-1000D to power it if that was a good choice.

What does the cooling do exactly? And how would it help me?

Which options would i need with the BL....? for daily pounding. I dont want to shell out 40 bucks for cooling if im not going to need it

So out of the Q and The BL which would be better for daily poundin and which options should I get with them

I figured the Fi would be better just because i can afford it

Well I went straight to 15"s because if i get 12's I would be really bad tempted to get 2 of them which I cant afford. And Ya I was wanting something that pounds really good. Not sure on the amp yet. Im going to get a new one after I figure out which sub I am going to get. Room wise... Probably around 4ft^3 not sure really though. Its a 96 Taurus just in case you know a more accurate number. ~MadroX

O.k. I got some money coming in soon. And I was wondering, Which would be better. 2 Maw-15's or something from Fi that would be better. So I was either going to get 2 Maw-15's or maybe just one Fi Q 15" or a Fi Bl 15".... Im staying under 300.00 for the sub... Well maybe a little over if I decide to incorporate some of the options with the Fi. If I get the Q or the BL which options should I get for them. Mind you this is just for Daily use. My friend wanted to know which is better. I have two Memphis Pr's layin around somewhere and he has some Kenwood Typhoon 12's in his truck. Both in sealed application. The Typhoons are running off some crappy Phoenix Digital 1000w amp. I doubt if the amp even puts out 400w. anyway and I have an Orion 600D (I think thats the model) for the Memphis' and also for my own personal TS-W306's. The amps are somewhat Irrelevant for this question as I'm just trying to figure out the following things for him. 1. Which subs hit harder? 2. Which Get louder? 3. Which are More Efficient? 4. Would they sound better in my car ('96 Taurus) or his truck ('86 Chevy Pickup)? Well come to think about it. Since we are ont he subject, If you happen to know off hand which amp would work better for the subs then by all means inform me. Im going to say the Orion will do better just because I love my 600d simply for the fact its a little Powerhouse IMO. So yea. My cousin is telling me of some subs he is trying to get rid of. He dosent have any pictures of them but all he says is that they are competition subs and they have a red C on the cone. Now whether or not they are competition is totally speculation. But I just wanted to know which sub company uses a red "C" for their logo on subs? Thanks in advance ~MadroX

I have a 1996 Taurus and I am limited on trunk space. I dont think I will be able to fit 2 Maw-15's in a 6cuft^3 enclosure in my trunk. So I was wondering what sounded better.... 2 Maw-15's in a Sealed Enclosure or 2 Maw-12's in a Ported Enclosure. Thanks in Advance ~MadroX

You only need one terminal. And your parallel wiring depends on what the sub impedance is and How many ch. your amp is. Go to this link. It tells you pretty much every configuration for all subs. If you not using around 12 or 10 guage wiring or even 14 for that matter then you dont need subs. Have a nice one. ~MadroX

I am getting two Maw-15's and I was wanting to put them in a Ported Enclosure tuned to 30hz. But I drive a 1996 Ford Taurus and I'm worried I will come up a little short on Trunk Space. Any Ideas for the box Or do those subs sound good enough in a Sealed Enclosure? Thanks In Advance Guys. ~MadroX
