i know just posting on forums wont get me a team spot or sponserd ....just trying to promote myself...i do go to sound comps and there is only one team in town, and both members that ive talked to seem like they want to be the only ones.(im not the only one that says that )as far as my girl goes she just gets mad that i keep spending all this money and time on audio equitment .ive tryrd to explain to her this is my passion and i love to do it .i know some of you out there know how that is.i think the whole thing is that she seen me almost reach my goal of 150s quite a few times and i get cut down by somthing(somthing breaks on my cars , house ,low hours at work,bills ,audio failure , and what not)its not so much the prices at this point that i care about, i guess i just want to show her i can do somthing with this than just be loud

hello i live in mi and i love installing , reviewing and talking car audio...i guess you can say i live and breath car audio.i am currently looking for some support on my installs...my stereo habit is getting really expensive and would love to keep building and blasting my system lol.also i would like to feel that i am actually a part of the industry doing something instead of just making noise even though i do love it.i would love to be able to break the 150 mark but im going broke doing it,and my fiancee of 7 years is about ready to leave me because of my obsession ,i guess most of all i just want to show her im doing this for a reason and reach a goal i set for my self. thank you for taking the time to read this check my youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/TheGrad1112?feature=mhee

A bigger amp may help reduce strain on your electrical, or add? thats what im afraid of but wont get a bigger amp till i get 2 new batts

way i see it if audio equitment fails ....time to go bigger and better.......boxes are the only thing that scare me not my install of every thing else

yup......like i said the batt(yellow top )has been beaten on.....why would u buy a used batt.....thats just dumb in my opinion.....u dont no what ur getting.....this batt has never seen under 12 volts in it whole life....never seen under 13.4 volts in the gp......i beleave my amp isnt helping the case either....im running one hifonic brutus 1200 d wide open on a havoc witch is known to handle 2k all day.....i run my system all day every day wide open(i allow the car to charge back up from starting and let the sub warm up) then its on. i think a bigger amp may help the cause too

why waste gas ...way i see it good build should be able to go a few minutes wide open without dying.....i built an explorer for my friend and he demos for like 20 minutes with car off and he goes from 15.5 to 15 volts ....hes running about 4k in amps and 1 kinetic.....my motor is not bad ...has 20000 and have since 10000 ....i put matainence before my system.......my alt is 3 months old and it starts at 14.4 and drops to 13.88 ater a few no system .(even asked singer he said it was normal in some applications)....thats no worry...alt is warm by then.....just when i stop the batt drains with the system on........LIKE I SAID BATT IS USED AND ABUSED FOR 3 TO 4 YEARS WITH ALOT OF SYSTEMS........have tried slow charging and didnt help.....will replace the one under the hood and get one for the trunk

yes it does drain fast with the car off....had the yellow top for about 3 or 4 years with alot of stereo abuse on it...cant afford both batts right now ...just want to add another in the trunk for now..yes i did the big 3 all o gauge copper wire

looking to up my reserve power for my system in a 2008 grand prix.i currently have a 220 amp singer alt.with a 3 year old yellow top that has been used and abused. the yellow top has enough power to power the car perfectly but drains fast unless im drivin around.im running a 1200 watt rms amp and am going to a 2k soon...just looking to up my reserve power as cheap and as smart as possible.

yes the basket is broke and the box it is in is junk......just worried that the coil is out of allignment and is goin to burn it up....the cone is getting way warmer then it did when it wasent broke..but it was on a junk 4k kole audio amp...now it on a 1200 rms hifonics

i have 1 15 inch ascendant audio havoc....it dosent have much play on it.the basket is broke on it and it seems to be over heating.i hit a 143.1 on a term lab though ,even broke..the question is ....a friend of mine just offer me 300$ cash for it even though it is broke.if i do sell 300$ is all i have to spend on a new sub....should i sell...recone and get the basket fixed?if i do sell i was looking at a ssa icon 18 or 15 ....same rms but will it be just as loud or louder......any suggestions for subs ....they are going into a trunk of a grand prix....just scared that its going to pop due to the basket being broke and it over heating.

i did 26h.x20w.x24d using 3/4 mdf on the fosgate website and it said it was 5.9 cuft Internal Vb witch should be enough for port ,bracing , and sub displacement?
