  1. Promise me you'll bring that grill and I'll supply the the burgers and dogs with all the fixings. Promise?
  2. im trying to think of which target your talking about. cause Theres that one over there by the outlet mall and thats pretty much the only one I know. Sorry for the confusion. The target is already closed. There was a Best Buy next to it, which is also closed. It's a pretty big shopping center with most of the stores now closed. The only other reference I have is that there is a Furr's Cafeteria in the same shopping center. I hope this helps. If anything mapquest it.
  3. I don't even know if it's shipped. Haha! I dig the sig.
  4. We'll find out soon enough. Crap, I recommend it to anyone who is interested. I don't compete and I want one.
  5. Looks like we got some profiteers jumping the gun on premature forum boner. Careful everybody this one might go limp before anyone gets any product.
  6. We're coming up on 4 weeks away. I'm thinking we should get together at the final destination of the last year's meet. It was just outside of the Hays County Civic Center ( 1249 Civic Center Loop, San Marcos, TX 78666 Mapquest it). To put it shortly, the middle of nowhere. It was a little tricky to get there so we should meet at the old target parking lot where we had the mini meet. At the corner of Thorpe Ln & Springtown Way in San Marcos Tx. From there we can drive to the fairgrounds and blast our stereos. After wards, we can go eat somewhere. Thoughts and input please.
  7. Oh no, threadjackers! J/K. Good luck with sale.
  8. Tire kickers. LOL!
  9. Dang, where we you when I started this thread. I would have waited to see what you had to say before plunking down the cash that I did. A deal to top it off, dang.
  10. UPDATE Communications have resumed with SPL-Labs. The LCD Bass Meter should be shipping out in a couple of days. From there it's in Gods hands. Damn Iceland volcano! At this point I can say with confidence; SPL-Labs cares enough to keep it's customers in the loop of whats going on and when product is shipping. Stay tuned for more updates.
  11. We should meet at the Mc Coys again.
  12. Do they even make that thing any more? I looked up splmeter.com and ended up at the term-lab site. The price seemed right.
  13. Whaaat, no link? Come on player. Here it is for all us slackers who hate to search. Click here That SPL-X meter looks to be new from them. A long time ago they had a product appear in audiojunkies site. Here is a link. Clicky Linky 2 I ordered one. The guy was a little hesitant, he was just starting out and as you can imagine shipping over seas is a pain. Luckily PayPal works in the UK. I got the product with in a couple of weeks. It works okay, it's just a slow process. You play a tone and record on graph paper the level. Once your done you connect the dots and have a graphical representation of your systems frequency response. From there you can deceide how to go about goofing with your eq. If you flat out hate dicking with computers and have all the time in the world this is for you. Having a CD player with a pause button is an additional plus. Oh, I almost forgot this contraption fits in between the seat and the headrest. I'll post a pic when I get home. It does what it says it does. It's slow for me. I'll use Holmimpulse or ARTA. Price wise it's a deal because no pc, mic, preamp is required. The bummer is the currency exchange rate.
  14. LoL. I caught them right before they shut down for a small vacation. I've got about a week left before we resume communications. I relate this to those sci-fi space movies where the command station loses contact with the spaceship for a short period because a planet is orbiting between them. Hehe. I hoping to have this meter with time to spare for the South Texas Meet happening later in May. Not to worry, I'll have a review before then for all to read. I'm still open to testing suggestions.
  15. Good deal, it always fun getting something new. Keep us posted.
  16. That is shocking. Did you sell it along with the system and rims? Don't tell me that kid with the Kickers bought it. LoL. Any plans for a replacement?
  17. I dig the purple micro suede. As a matter of fact it the same color and material as my sofas in the living room. Bummer about the texture not sticking to the MDF. Sometimes you have to scuff up the MDF to get any coating to stick to it because it so smooth. No biggie, it's coming out nice.
  18. Hugo next time I see you I want to give you what I have left of this Damplifier Pro Thanks Matt.
  19. The LCD Bass Meter is a stand alone unit. You can plug it into a pc using the software that comes with it for a more detailed and visual reading. The USB Bass meter is plug and play. I am looking forward to getting this item. It seems my bad timing strikes again. My payment will not reach SPL-Labs before they close for a short time off. It seems they are a small operation / one man show. My item wont ship till later this month. It wont be till early next month before I post my review. Unless someone else has one and would like to chime in. Sorry guys. I'm still open to testing suggestions.
  20. The LCD Bass Meter is $330 plus shipping on the SPL-Labs website. If I can arrange some side by side testing with the term-lab I will. Here is a link to SPL-Labs Youtube page. Clicky Linky They have some side by side testing of all their products. The use of a air compressor type device to test the pressure meters makes me raise an eyebrow. I'd like to see real world testing. Which, is what I'll be doing.
  21. BigJon, thanks for posting the pics. They came out looking good. It was a good get-together, I look forward to the next one. So, how bout that IB setup metering 135.8 on 480 watts. Ha, that's about as silly as my flex vids. Ha ha!
  22. I have decided to go with the LCD Bass Meter. For a few bucks more it give me the option of not having to drag out my laptop to meter my system. Sometimes I'm only capable of seeing as far as my nose, so I'd like to here some suggestions as to what would everyone like to know and what to test. Don't be humble, share your thoughts. Thanks for everyone to your input and support. Cheers
  23. I've been in contact with SPL-Labs. They offer this other product. It's their LCD Bass Meter. The USB Bass Meter and the LCD Bass Meter use the same sound pressure monitoring sensor as the Term-Lab. I'm kind of at odds of which to get. I have asked a few other questions in hopes of helping me make a decision. I figure since I'm going to be the guinea pig I might as well ask if there is any interest in the community for the LCD Bass Meter?
