  5. Good point well I would assume it would im pretty easy anymore my previous set up was only a dcon 15 on 200 watts so I bet it would do fine. Now as a question for use in multiple generes of music like country rock and rap would a pair of 8s or tens be more appropriate?
  6. After looking up the sd 10 they may fit the bill actually depending on price two 10s would have pretty good output right?
  7. Yea for an under seat down firing box im prob going to have to run a prefab for the time being til I have time or money for another
  8. Ok in my new f150 ext cab turns out without serious work the p3s I traded for wont fit lol so I need assistance a relatively loud set of 10s or 12s that are less than 120 a piece and have a mounting depth less than 5.25 and airspace wise sealed between .6 and 1 cu ft thanks for suggestions
  9. So I have a guy coming tomorrow to trade me two rockford p3 12s for my one dcon and box plus cash this is sounds like a good deal is it?
  10. I assumed as much which is why im trying to sell the sub and box as a combo locally or trade for an f150 box dont need the money as long as I get the pieces for the new stereo you know the stock setup is killin me and these damn bills dont know when to stop coming
  11. I assume as much which is why im trying to sell sub and box as a combo locall
  12. Thanks im thinkin bout posting up here but im thinking im too lazy to ship plus that ported box would be rough to ship its quite large like I believe it was over 5 cubes
  13. Thanks for the responses from what I found unless I can make it any larger it will be .60 cubes sealed per chamber and yea I know thats tiny and I would love to use dcon 10s because I love my dcon 15 especially with the low power output though now I just need to sell my old equipment so I can start buying new stuff
  14. Im looking to get a box built under the rear seat of the extended cab so pretty small dont know exact measurements yet but Im pretty sure around .60 cubes per sub or so from my research sealed running off 200 watts each sub at 4ohms
  15. I wanna say dual 4 but not positive and I need a pair of subs that will run well off of 400 watts at 4ohms im thinking a pair of 12s for cone area though also need it to fit in a tiny box lol
  16. Just bought a brand new f150 stx with sync looking to put my stereo from my jeep back in the f150 the alpine type r components are probably going in the truck as well as my ppi 4 channel i think im going to sell my kenwood excelon 997 considering how much of a pain it would be to replace the stock and im probably going to sell or trade my dcon 15 and custom ported wedge box for somethkng that will fit under the seats in my extended cab any recommendations would be helpful for loc as well as subs and a box for under the seat that could run off the rear channell of my ppi 800 by 4
  17. Ok thanks can't wait to get it all hooked up and have my first experience with ssa
  18. I picked them up used unfortunately on an awesome deal so I had to take what u could get lol
  19. will the ppi black ice 800.4 be enough to run a set of alpine type r components up front and a ssa dcon off the rear 2 channels bridged? or should I plan to invest in a second amp also are there any electrical changes that have to be made for that amp I would assume not but due to all the computers in my jeep I want to make sure the voltage would be safe
  20. Now the dcon I believe on ssa site said 3.5 cubic feet for the box ported I'm having this box built so I wanna give them all the numbers so 3.5 cubic feet and I was thinking slot port how many hertz would u recommend I ask then to tune for I'm looking for the most general response on music regardless of type and so you are saying I can't hook up just one voice coil ?
  21. I actually have 2 dcon dvc 4ohm but I'm only putting one in my jeep
  22. So I run the wire from only one voice coil since its dual 4 and I believe the amp is only 4 ohm stable when bridged
  23. I have a kenwood excelon x997 comin in as well as 6.5 alpine type r components and a ppi black ice 800.4 as well as all wiring and a ssa dcon 15 hopefully going in a custom built 3.5 cubic foot box now how should I wire the 15 on to the rear channels of the ppi since my dcons are dual 4 ohm
  24. dam that things a pretty penny to your knowledge is there any way to do it cheaper than that can I direct wire in the jeep or will I lose my speedo or anything?
  25. cool much appreciated yall are very helpful here im just attempting to finalize my design since my financial aid should be in soon im sick of having stock
