Figured i would post up a little video since i got out of class early. Tell me what y'all think. And this is only off about 1000 watts. And watch in 720hd.

I got it at OReillys. They are the only place that sells that kind of bedliner. It goes on nice and thick but comes out really smooth (almost feels soft). Ok. I think i'll be going to Meca in Tulsa next weekend if i don't have any other plans. May compete may not. My truck only does a 140.0 with 1 12 off 800 watts behind the seats (single cab) so idk how competitive that will be.

How does it look? Bedliner and gloss white.

Thanks. And yeah i glued the piece down, but when i glue i run a bead along the piece i'm gluing, then spread it thin. The best glue joint is one with not much space between the two boards. I'm too cheap to waste glue. Haha. But i do go overboard on the glue if you cant see the joint. On this joint the glue all happened to squeeze out into the box for some reason. And thanks again for the compliments. This is the first one i've done and will surely do more if i get the business (even though stillwater is the home of Kicker and we have 4 stereo shops, nobody wants to pay the money for a custom box sadly).

Yeah i hope he takes good care of it. And as soon as he gets the sub in i'll have to make a trip back up to get a video. I'm hoping to find a sub around Stillwater before tomorrow to test this box out with.

As of now it will be left bare. The kid i made it for won't get his sub for another couple of weeks, so he might do something in the mean time with it. Never done a Kerfed box before so i hope it sounds as good as i think it will.

I didn't get any pictures during the process (camera was down and decided to not come on until it was all done). But the box is 3.3 cubic feet with 48 sq in of port tuned to 32 hz. This is also the first time i've ever done a kerf port, and i thought it turned out pretty good. Questions? Comments?

Might take a minute for it to process the HD, but this is his Extreme 4 run. Where the mic is placed 1 foot from the passenger window and music has to be played for 30 seconds straight. I think this run was a hair under 140, but then again it was 104 that day. Still a very impressive run.

Yeah it's AQFirebirds setup. Met up with him at the Car Toys show in Tulsa this past Saturday. His old setup of 4 HDC3 12's on 4 Audioque 3500's was doing a little over 157 on the dash. This can do a little over 158, but the main focus this year is music, and he's done almost a 142 1 FOOT outside the passenger window. I've got a video of that i'll upload in a minute, along with some pictures i took of it. It's one nasty car. Haha.

Here's a few videos from todays comp at Car Toys in Tulsa, OK. Equipment is 4 15" Nightshades, 4 Sundown 3500's, 7 Kinetic batteries, and TMA components. Can do a 157+ dB on the dash, and a 141+ dB 1 Foot outside the passenger window. And remember to watch in HD. Questions? Comments?

My box is 2.3 cubes tuned to 28 hz. No matter what box i've had in my truck or what it's tuned to, my truck peaks at 41 hz. But, this box can play all the way down to 23 hz no problem. The Bl is a beast.

Best so far with this box is a 140.5 at 41 hz on the dash. I'm going to be metering 12" outside the window playing music for 30 seconds tomorrow at a competition. We'll see how i do with that. I see you've also got a Bl 12. Have any videos posted up? I don't know of many with 1 Bl 12 setups.

Just a little video i shot this evening. When i walk around the vehicle the note is too low for the camera to pick up as you'll see. And, just clamped the amp, with impedence rise the sub is only seeing about 900-1000 watts. Enjoy. And remember to play in 720HD to get the full effect.

Yep everything is set correctly. And sorry i just ran the calculations again and it's tuned to a little over 29 hz. It's only reaching 60%excursion at 23-27 hz, where as it's reaching full excursion from 34-50 hz. Don't think i'll be needing a recone from playing that low anytime soon. I'm careful with my equipment (poor college student). I can't afford to ruin this sub, so i play it safe. Haha.

It's tuned to 31 hz, so it does have good range. It starts dropping off at about 50 hz, but anything above that is just annoying bass to me. Bass should be felt, not just tickle your nose. Haha. And listening to rock and country mostly, and when demo time calls i've got an arsenal of slowed songs to get the job done. I'm not chasing numbers anymore, i just wanted something to shock people.

I know what you mean. I've had that same amp for 5 years, been through 3 different subs (old Bl 12, Death Penalty 12, new style Bl 12), all with different boxes. This is probably the second loudest overall, but is way louder than anything i've had at 30hz and under. I love the fact i can play 23 hz full tilt on this thing and not come anywhere close to damaging the sub in this box.

Thanks man. I had a center console box in it before this one (doing 141.6 on the dash), but i just wanted my center seat back. And this one just absolutely smashes the low's and to me is very impressive for just 1 12 behind the seats. I'm going to keep this setup for quite a while. I'm happy enough to stop where i am and not upgrade. Haha.

Yeah it is. But that's just the door on the door latch, so not much i can do about that. I still need to carpet the box, but here's some pics and another video kind of showing more of the box.

Just built a new box for my truck. I was tired of the center box being in there and not having a center seat, so i went back to a behind the seat box. This box is 2.3 cubes tuned to 31.3 hz. Just in a quick test session is doesn't seem as loud at 40 hz (my peak fq in my truck) but it is a LOW END MONSTER. It can play all the way down to 20 hz without breaking a sweat. I've got peal and seal over the box now because a couple of panels are 3/4 plywood, so i did that to strengthen the box and to seal it on all the joints. I still need to carpet it (once i get ahold of an air compressor). I think it will be around a 140 on the TL, but i think i've got a 135 at 25 hz in it right now. But only time and a trip to hook up a TL will tell. Questions? Comments? I'll be making more videos soon when i've got some more time on my hands. And btw, the rattle you hear is the sliding back glass (really need a solid back glass). And be sure to watch it in HD.

You have to post your pic on a hosting website like Photobucket, or something,then post it on here. And to Julian, that was a very nice and loud blazer. If it had the TSNS 18's in it that it had at finals that woulda been a good deal. Then again, 8k isn't so hot when your talking about a vehicle that's now worthless and "tore up".

I'm originally from Cherryvale, ks. I competed in the midwest spl circuit in the summer. I went to World Finals this year in tulsa because i now goto school at OSU in stillwater, OK. I actually took home 3rd place in amaetuer Psychlone class.. I wanted to try something new for next season. My first sub was a Bl and i always liked it, so i switched back. I just got my new 09 Bl in today and withou even being broken in it's already louder than the DP in the center box.
