  1. Alright so could someone check these specs. I have right now width 41 height 22 depth 20 Port height 20.5 width 4.75 length 31 I am getting just over 32hz for tuning and my port area im getting 97.375. After the the displacement i am just over 6cuft.
  2. never mind i found it... thank you
  3. Not to sure how your coming off but according to the features straight from the site to buy them it suggest a 3-5cubic feet as per sub. So one could only assume 6-10cubic feet. Anyone with experience with the fi bl 15's would have a good suggestion on a port area. So i guess to be a little more clear i am going to stay within the 6-10cuft. It also is going to be in a daily driver not for spl application so i would like it to sound good
  4. normal rap or hip hop sometimes dubstep rock classic rock country... a lot of different types music of music. I was thinking of tuning around 32-34hz
  5. So i am just curious what is a good port area for 2 fl bl 15's
  6. could i get this explained a little... sorry to thread jack just new and would like to understand

Alright so i get max box dimensions then i need to figure the port area i need once i figure the port area i could figure the length for tuning. So once i get the port i figure the displacement of the port and then subtract it from the box volume?

I am also now in process of a rebuild and will be switching out everything.I drive a 2007 ford escape. I have stock alt and yellow top with big 3 done.i have a singer h/o alt coming in and also have a xs power xp3000 coming.

Sorry this is going to be a box for 2 fi 15 bl Regardless, it's still not relevant to Fi. You can put any driver in any enclosure. Still haven't stated what you specifically need help with. Did you randomly draw that enclosure in sketch up, or? Not randomly drawn in i use exact measurements, its just the idea i want. But i am completely new to box designing and any help is appreciated. I am looking for a daily driver tuned to around 32hz edit: i guess i would need more help with port
