I'm looking at two amps a sundown 2500 or the crescendo 2000. I have the power to run either amp. I will be running it on a pair of disadvantages 12's.2 ohm daily, .05 ohm at competitions. What would u guys choose?

How long do you guys recommend breaking in the ssd's b4 going to competition with them and putting a lot of power on them?

220 Ho alt, two hc2400's, big three, 1/0 ha wire. All that needs done until voltage test can b done. If I go with the z3's I'll go with the saz-3500. What do I do?

I'm running two subs, sorry should have specified, yes all upgrades too electrical have been made. I also have been offered a good deal on a pair of sundown zv3's for just a few dollars more. I know they would handle it, but was lead to believe the fi bl'smight b a touch better since I could custom build them for spl.

Would I b better off getting the bl n2's instead? Sorry for the mistake. I plan on using the crescendo 5500. 2 ohm daily and .05 when I compete. I had heard that the bl's would b a good sub for this. I'm replacing mtx 9500's so I don't want to downgrade.

Can anyone give me info on the 12" bl's dual twos? What kind of max cottage for a burp at half ohm, break in time, etc. Plz help!!!!

Probably too much too bother with since I'm getting new subs. Just make a paper weight.

I just had a mtx 9512-44 go out on me. Pretty sure it's the voice coils. I've had it for nine years (and its taken many trophies) do u guys know if mtx will repair it? Already ordered fi bl's to take its place, but would still like to have this sub. Sentimental value I guess.

I am looking at two different amps. The sundown 3500 or the crescendo 5500. Both r close and around same price. I hear crescendo is not very good at customer service and theory ratings r rated at 13.8 volts. Sundown on the other hand is known for customer service and umderate their amps, supposingly tested at 12.5 volts. I'm leaning toward the sundown amp and almost commuted to it, but would the crescendo b better especially since they have .05 ohm warranty. What do u guys think?

Thanks for that info, but I don't have room for that setup. Vehicle is still family transportation. It should rum between 14 to 13 volts as the system I have now never draws it below 13.7. That's why I'm asking so much info about the amp as I've Googled it I get some inconsistent numbers on what the amp will do at 14 volts. I don't believe I'm pushing more than 4000 true watts through the amps I have now, but they're supposed to push 6500. No power strain with the setup now so I hope I have the same luck.

I have been running two mtx 9500's at 2 ohm on two strapped gorilla 5500's. Only have one 2400 and red top upfront with high output alt. Best I've done is 148.2 @ 45hz. New question now, will I b down grading instead of upgrading. I want to be in the 150's to b competitive. That was measured with term lab on windshield.

Yeah I had to add to the wiring because of computer none the less it works. I appreciate all ur guys help. If u have any tips or info on the amp I would appreciate it.

I've done the big three already. Just never heard it referred to as that. The reason I was asking I never had any experience with sundown amps and nobody close to me even heard of it. I'll def. Add the other battery and watch the voltage. I meant daily at two ohm accidentally hit the one. Sorry for the mistake. Thanks guys for all ur input and keep giving me info on the amp as I only seem a 4500 in action at a comp. He ran a 200 amp alt. And two 2400's. He played daily music and hit a 157, so I'm impressed with the brand.
