Ok, so here is my situation. My current set up isn't satisfying enough for me. I currently have AMP: PPI PCX2200 800WATTS RMS BRIDGED BOX: PORTED BOX BUILT TO JL DESIGN CP112G-W1v2 (H 15.25 in. x W 20.50 in. x D 15.00 in.) so roughly i think i have around 2.5 cubic feet of volume SUB: 12" KICKER CVR 400WATTS RMS CAR: 1997 BMW 318IS WITH FOLDED DOWN SEATS GOAL: Good LSQ that'll kick some street Ars Sub that I'm considering to upgrade to: All single 12'' I want to see which is the best/loudest LSQ sub out of these since i've heard none of them and have read good things about most of them i've gotten myself rather confused. price on sub is not a questions will be working with the amp and box i already have. RE SX FI Q SI Magd2 ID Maxx DD2500 Mach5 MAW if they do have a 12'' CVX

i've never heard of venting speakers to the outside... I was just going to have the shop run the wires and hook up the amp.

How do I connect my subs to my Amp to Bring it down to 2ohms? The amp rating is 200x4ohms 400x2ohms 800x4ohms Bridging the amp L- R+ brings the amp to 800x4ohms So I was wondering how to do I connect it to bring it down to 400x2ohms. Right now it's connected R+ R- and I don't know if that's 200x4ohms or 400x2ohms. Please help.

yea i've heard the focals they're really nice. i'm looking at the 5.25 drivers. the shop is going to install. I'll be running a ppi pcx 280. budget pref would be under 500 on components. box in my trunk right now is exactly like the JL box. internal space i think it's running abour 1.75. well for the amp i was planning on keeping my ppi pcx 2200.

Alright guys what's up! I need some help here. Right now I have a 97 BMW 318is with a 12'' Kicker CVR in a ported box a 800watt PPI PCX2200 amp. and a ghetto cheap cap from Fry's. Now I need some Components that'll fit just like factory. My local shop told me to go with Focals so that'll probably be what i run with unless i get enough people to tell me i can get something as good for cheaper haha. I was wondering if I could get a sub that'll rape 2 12'' cvr, cvx, jl w6v2. I want a single sub at 800rms that'll use a box that takes almost half my trunk. I do care about SQ. I've read that RE SE and SX are great subs. I wanted to see what else was out there. Oh and right now my trunk rattles like crazy I wanted to get some opinions on second skin spectrum spray.
