  1. awesome truck. i want a new body style chevy or gmc so bad
  2. it charges my phone through usb but still wont play music. the cord wouldnt play music through a buddys system either. it charges fine on my computer. my phone hasnt had any updates or anything but im going to go buy a new usb cord and hopefully this fixes the problem
  3. 65 amps seems pretty low. you can upgrade your main battery, extra battery and do big 3 while setting gains right and see how it does
  4. the usb actually comes up now and says error 19 but still no pandora. i reset my phone and it still does the same. the phone will go to usb and says error 19 and if i scroll through the source more than 2 or 3 times it shuts down
  5. restarting my phone does nothing. it still shows its charging but only thing coming up on the source menu is tuner, cd player, and aux
  6. its an iphone so i turned off all apps then started my music and pandora again and still didnt work, whats really puzzling me is when im scrolling through the sources it just completely shuts off
  7. i was driving home last night and plugged my phone into the usb and nothing happened , but i just drove home with the radio on and didnt pay much attention. i went out today to mess with it and the usb will say its charging my phone but usb and pandora wont show up on the cd player. i kept scrolling through the sources and now when i scroll through them the cd player just shuts off. any ideas how to fix this?
  8. i love the sound of the sa so im planning on adding another one soon and getting a better amp. it just baffles me that the other amp was 1500 watts at 1 ohm running at 1.33 didnt blink a bit and it only had the same 4 gauge wires going to it. oh well ill check the grounds whenever all this dang snow stops and if i cant find anything oh well. it was only at very high volumes so it doesnt really bother me too much. still annoying though
  9. everything is 1/0 besides the feed going from the back battery to the amp, because with this little amp my 4 gauge i have barely fit in. ill check the grounds though
  10. ok i have my big 3 done with kicker hyper flex and a kinetik hc1400 in the back. i used to run a us amps md2d wired to 1.33 ohms and never had any problems at all with the lights dimming. now i have my precision power 850.1 running a sundown sa and i noticed when i was in town other night , that at higher volumes my lights blinked a little but nothing too major. i just thought this was weird because the md2d never caused this. i have 4 gauge ran to the amp.. i have the gain set a little over 1/4. its running at 1 ohm. ssf set to about 30 and lpf somewhere around 80. bass boost on the amp and head unit off. any suggestions on how to stop this besides gettin a new alternator?
  11. if you HAVE to get your amp from best buy i would get an alpine. mono for the sub and solid 4 channel for the door speakers. i wouldnt buy any other amps from best buy. honestly you can find 2 amps to fit your need for well cheaper and save the gift card toward something else
  12. thank ya. not too much to clean up with the wires but still want it to look better. and im going to get carpet tomorrow. even though i wont show it off much i still want it to be cleaner for my own personal benefit
  13. finally got everything installed. the sa sounds great. definitely going to have to upgrade my midbass now. the box has to get carpet on it because its looking awful. ill have pictures up in a few
  14. might wanna move a topic about a sundown product out of the fi section . . . . .
  15. im usually in Murfreesboro for school , back west for the break though
  16. im going to drill a hole and get the wires sealed up tomorrow, just had them coming out the port before. but other than that its just hooking wires up and mounting the subs and amp. should have everything ready to go tomorrow ill let you know how it turns out!
  17. i ditched some of my old equipment. the amp came in today and the sub arrives tomorrow. ill have everything put in with more pictures tomorrow and hopefully a video in a few days. only thing ive done is mount the bass knob. just wating for the sub to come in to mount the amp. i will be cleaning up all the mess by the battery because its looking rough kicker hyper flex 1/0 precision power sedona 850.1
  18. if you get the d1 or d2 depends on the impedance of the amp, whats your budget for the amp?
  19. if you want to be tuned that high, i know dd subs like to be tuned high. you could port 2 9512's to 37-38 hz
  20. every application wll be different. i dont have any experience messing with a f250, but the f150's seem pretty easy to fit other sizes. i wouldnt think much of an altercation would be needed
  21. whats all the equipment youre running?
  22. is this what you decided to do? more pics . . . .
