I was told that I could check the sub with a dmm meter to see if its in good condition I got a 1.9 reading is this good, I think so just want to make sure? Its a 2 ohm dvc

ok well as long as the sub ain't blown I should be ok my amp still under warranty Also the aml doesnt go into protect mode and lights up that's why I thought it was the sub but thanks I can check tommorw w/ another sub and a voltmeter

Not yet I will hopefully be able to tomorrow I know I can also check the sub coils with a dmm but what does it need to be set at, I know that to set the gain its av 200. Is it the same for the sub? And how can I check the amp

I'm getting absolutly no sound out of my sub it was working fine for about 10 minutes earlier and than i unhooked it so I could set the gain correctly with a dmm and after I hooked it back up I got nothing from the sub The first time I hooked it up at had it at 1/4 gain up so I'm sure it was not clipping and I only played it on low volumes, I also didnt smell any burning So could could sub be blown? Dvc 2 ohm wires parallel to 1 ohm off kx1200

alright so my question is what size and what would be the ideal tuning for a box in my truck. I mostly play a mix of rock and rap So what would u guys suggest would sound best i have a little over 11 cu ft but dont mind doing smaller just want would be best for my music So i guess im going for LSQ i have had no experience with 18s so any help would be apprciated

how much louder would the bl be...i started to think of going for the ssd bc i only have a kicker kx1200.1 and stck charging system, so i dont know that i could give the bl what it needs...i would get the ssd fully loaded and what do you suggest for the bl and which wuold you guys choose

and how would either of these compare to 2 12s, the loudest in my little town are 2 p3s

but aint both the bl and the q 1000rms so the power issue be the same and i was thinking the bl becasue i really wanna be louder than 2 12s or up there with them would this be possible with just one 18

1st of all what options should i get with only about 1000rms, im saying this bc my kicker kx1200.1 does 1050 with stock charging system but i know they are underated so it might be a little more 2nd what should i expect from an 18 bc im used to 2 10s kicker CVXs and i really have never heard a really good setup, i listen to mostly rap and a little rock i want spl but would this still have good sq
