Ok... So how do you guys think the SSD will perform with that volume and 750w? Anyone have a similar set-up?

Sorry, I just read the post above explaining what the copper coil does. That being said, are you recommending more power? If so, how much. I have the sub enclosure (.88 cu.ft.) and I'm trying to set up a sub/amp that will work with the given volume. I haven't decided on an amp yet. I looked at a Planet Audio RXD1000, a class D which produces 750w RMS @2 ohm. They have larger units available. Thoughts?

What advantages would the SSD have over the Q? What difference does the copper coil make? Are you saying I need more power? Sorry for all the noob questions, I'm still in the learning process. Thanks in advance.

First post guys, so please bear with me... I'm looking at a 12" Q for my sealed enclosure. Here's the thing, I've got an enclosure that's .88 cu.ft. I did the search and came up with what seems to be a optimum 1.2 to 1.3 cu. ft. Here's the question, how will this driver respond in the .88 sealed with 750w rms? Thanks guys.
